I think iMac16,2 although not supported by Ventura is supported by OCLP 0.5.0. Iris Pro 6200 is included into Broadwell GPUs of the OCLP pci_data.py file where all graphics device-ids are listed.
iMac16,2 SMBIOS is also included into the SMBIOS list in the OCLP smbios_data.py file.

The best way is to leave all settings as OpenCore-Patcher app sets. Read OCLP guides.

Sorry to be quoting myself, but does anyone have any idea what could be going on here?
Why the same installer, installs just fine on an external SSD but not on the internal SSD?

Try the compiled app, don’t compile it by yourself. Read a post about it by @khronokernel a few posts above (Post 1148). Current compiled app is already beta, not alpha.
Also try without spoofing smbios.
I tried with and without spoofing on the latest artifacts
Mac Mini 2012 still boot and stuck "OCB: StartImage Failed - Already Started"
At least now I learnt where to get the latest nightly build.

On my MBP11,3, I have macOS Monterey 12.6 on the original internal SSD and Ventura RC2 on an external Thunderbolt SSD, respectively with OCLP 0.4.11 and the latest 0.5.0 alpha (with default settings): a strange thing that I have noticed is that in Monterey the condition of the battery (which is new, recently changed) is correctly reported as good, while in Ventura it shows up only as fair and with a service recommended warning in the menu bar (but no such warning in the battery system settings: so, it looks like a bug; also battery apps like coconutBattery and others follow the same pattern: good in Monterey, fair in Ventura); I’m sure that the battery is in perfect condition: so, would this be a Ventura bug, or an OCLP alpha (a new setting, maybe) bug…? Very strange…

Hi good morning/afternoon for everyone, I can report that my iMac mid 2011 upgraded with Kepler GPU has managed to work fine and patch with Ventura rc2.
OTA upgraded from Monterey to RC1 and after to RC2 without issues.
Patched with OCLP 0.5.0 nightly build.

Many many thanks to the dev's who made it possible again, and invested so much time and effort.
Regards.

Is a BCM94360CD card?
All iMacs 2009-2011 will need a BCM94360xx upgrade and a metal GPU to work properly with Ventura. There is no support of stock Atheros WiFI or stock older stock BCM Bluetooth (and likely will never be). Therefore you will not find those older iMacs on the official OCLP support list (which includes currently only 2012+ Macs).

Additionally a lot of software new features like UC, AirDrop, AirPlay depend on a new upgraded BT/WiFi card.

Can report that RC2 works well on my 2012 Mac Mini
Schermafbeelding 2022-10-21 om 14.05.25.png

In certain areas it feels faster than Monterey. Only real problem is with the notification centre and its widgets not showing up correctly sometimes. That is apparently a known issue even on M1 Macs.

Other than that everything works except for the Weather app and memoji profile pics, but that's a OCLP issue that will probably be fixed in the future.
Install was easy and you can install it right over your existing Monterey installation.

I am not a developer. I am however wondering what the “fixes” are for this latest update. Is there a list somewhere?
they are closed source and dont have github commit comments, on apple website for regular release they only say bug fixes

just press enter at the apfs entry few times to retry booting.. (or use dmpstore to fix nvram if its seen missing in shell)
