I have the Mac mini as yours.
Mac Mini 2012 boot and stuck "OCB: StartImage Failed - Already Started"
Which OCLP did u use to build the EFI? Do u select the default setting without any spoof?
I have one too. Ventura works fine without making any changes to OCLP. I’ve used multiple nightly releases without any issues. Perhaps you could list every step that you take to get where you are.

Like in: Open software Update in Monterey and update to Ventura?
With OCLP (0.5) installed on the main disk of-course!

That's the way it has been working for about 2 decades so it should work. (with OCLP)
I did it via making a USB installer of Ventura and just installing on the disk without formatting. I have no idea if it would work directly via the update function in settings. I imagine it won't work due to patches required before install.

I am in the process of doing an in-place Install, so fingers crossed, Restarting within a minute.

Edit: It didn't work, failed after a few restarts, think it couldn't find the recovery.clone.dmg

Good evening, I just installed the Mac OS 13 Beta via Open Core on my iMac 2013 and it ran very jerkily and often froze. Can this be due to the beta or will the official version be just as bad.

You do not have a video card accelerator. You need a video card driver.

That’s how I upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey, both unsupported on my Mac. I had no issues.

It’s probably because you haven’t installed Root patches after the installation was complete. Run OCLP again on the machine and select Root Patching.

Thanks, he tells me no patch needed. The problem is that the Mac can only be started if the USB stick is plugged in, otherwise the question mark appears. what am I doing wrong

The best option is to install the latest version of OCLP 0.5.0
Then make the disk bootable-installation.
Reboot and run from the installation disk. The installation will run smoothly and will not freeze.

Please pardon my stupidity, when Khronokernel releases 0.5.0 will it appear where .4.11 is now?

Very helpful here, thank you. I'm still very new here and I'm wondering how I'll update when the final version comes out? Also download again and then install the whole patching via the OLPC? Shouldn't my data be lost then? or can someone explain to me how the whole thing works when Apple releases 13.01, for example.

so this rc2 is final? there is mention that if no letter in the last digit its final in the past history big releases?

All you are doing wrong is not copying your EFI partition from USB onto boot disk. After doing that you are free to boot without USB stick. By the way, this is well described in OCLP documentation.

Is anyone experiencing any bug with Copy-Paste?
When pasting anything on any app that app just crashes. Happen with very app. Text, copy files between folders, everything, as soon as Cmd past is pressed, crashes. But only happens doing the keyboard shortcut, if I do Edit - Copy - Edit-paste no crash. This only happens on the patched machine with RC2. On the previous versions, no such problem.
