I'm having issues with people not able to see mail attachments unless I send the mail "plain text" instead of rich text (sent from my IMAP accounts).

The files are being attached, but the code wrapper around them is somehow wrong and they don't show.

Edit: Feedback sent.
Edit2: I deleted every "Mail" folder from ~Library/Containers and that seems to have fixed the issue. I'll keep testing.

So far so good.

I see Adobe Reader is not fully compatible with macOS 14 yet.

Printing do not work.

Do you recommend to install Beta 1 on main drive? Is it stable? I have MacBook Pro M1 Pro with 16 GB Ram.
I found few little bugs that not preventing from using as daily driver. But Sonoma consumes more battery on MB Pro 16 2023 with M2 Max. I hope they fix it in next version.

My bugs:
Stage manager on secondary display - I can't bring side list of running apps when I'm in maximized window or window that is most left on screen.

I noted first bug / feature :) I am under 20% battery charge and there was no notification that battery level is low.

Have you noted it?

On M1 that happens at 10% in previous macOS Versions. I guess it's still the same for macOS 14?

I'm unable to use iPhone widgets on my 14" Macbook Pro. The From iPhone button is missing. All other Continuity features work. Both the Mac and iPhone have the new beta's installed. This is the one reason why I wanted to install the beta, so I'm bummed.

just updated; so far, (mostly) so good. a little quirky (but hey! it's developer beta 1). my apps work, except final draft, where all hell breaks lose (i let them know). and things do seem a little speedier. anyway, we'll see how things go...

When in the App Store, if I look under purchases by other family members some of them are empty - showing No Purchases, when I look in the same place on Ventura, the purchases appear - anyone else seen this?

iOS 15 was not popular, iOS 13 was not popular. The reason was because there was no customization. Almost every gen-z updated to Big Sur since they liked the redesign.
But this doesn't match the data at all. Every version of iOS is "popular" since the upgrade rates are so high. Right now I think 85%+ of phones have the latest version of iOS, and it's been that way for over a decade now. Some features like widgets do allow for more customization but overall every single version of iOS is "popular".

Widgets and additional customization.

Before the changes seemed minor to Gen Z.
This is the weirdest take. You're essentially saying you could apply anything you dislike or have little interest in and say "hrm...yup, pandering to gen Z".

What did you think of Widgets when they came to Windows in 2007? Also, these widgets were always here - just not in a user friendly section of the screen.
