Hi, I’ve 2 bugs with the 15.4:
- Dock doesn’t launch at startup sometimes, I have to reboot.
- Impossible to update Apps in App Store. Stuck at « prepare download », download never starts.

edit : OCLP 2.3.0

rMBP from 15.3.2 > 15.4 using OCLP 2.3.0 with no issues so far.
Might be noteworthy to mention that you may need to redo patches a second time to get the updated matching Metallib if you did not have a network when patching the first time. That may cause issues.
I did and it d-loaded that the second time I ran the patches. Happy Times.

P.S. Definitely Dachshound here, incorrectly labelled Yorkie.

I just updated Xcode through the app store on my MBP mid 2012 with no issues. Also haven't seen any issues with the dock.

The MBP11,3 (and also other models) boot problem I talked about some days ago is still not fixed in OCLP 2.3.0 final:
Yet another Kepler issue? Who knows…
No problems here again with the MacBookPro11,3 - macOS Sequoia 15.4 Final (24E248) with OCLP 2.3.0 Final both installed without any (boot) issues:

Have you installed the latest firmware updates offered by the last supported macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (20G1427)? You can use SilentKnight 2.11 for checking.. ;)

There is a new 2.4 with no info on the n page, I wonder if that is 4/1 related. Preview was always slow, until now with the latest updates.

From a discussion on Discord, it looks like the black screen problem at boot could be due to having vaulting enabled (as in my case and others) in OCLP 2.3.0: will try tomorrow to build and install it to the EFI without vaulting, and see if this solves the issue (which anyway will have to be fixed by the devs, sooner or later)…

Not my experience—have gray screen but no file vault set

I am having problems now since I updated OCLP to 2.3.0 (15.3.2) via the patcher app.
Edit: Managed to update to 15.4 but still the bluetooth/mouse problem exists.
SOLVED!

The OCLP 2.3.0 update did not correctly identify my cMP's bluetooth hardware and so created a crap install config which lived through all attempts to reinstall and downgrade back to 2.2.0

After confirming via Mojave I had no hardware issue (bluetooth worked properly as expected) I cleared NVRAM and rebooted my Monterey backup (before installing OCLP) and used my manual OC to get it booted as I knew that config worked. Then I used OCLP 2.3.1 to create a new EFI with OCLP based on that Monterey boot state and sure enough, this time there were not "bluetooth fix" lines in the list. In fact no mention of bluetooth anywhere in OCLP config.

Once I finally restarted in 15.4 all is now working fine.

So definitely some problem issues in OCLP >v2.2.0 there for cMP users like me?

Just installed on my 13,3 macbook pro touchbar. still have issues with facetime though not working at all for me. Passwords works in clamshell mode however with touchid it crashes like posted earlier. Kind of makes it useless to use passwords now with safari in laptop mode :( Solution right now is to disable touch id entirely and everything works. Waiting for a fix.

Hello everyone,

is there any news about OCLP and MacPro3,1 Dual Socket Support in Sequoia?
There are not many items left on the issues list and this is one of them.

In just over two months WWDC is coming up with a new macOS and I'm wondering if there will even be an OCLP fix for it so that the MacPro3,1 can boot with all eight cores under Sequoia. Soon the OCLP developer focus will surely go to the next operating system, so my fear is that no solution will be created for it.

Who knows more about this? Is there still hope?

I have the same problem with updates on the App Store ( OCLP 2.3.1 )

It's just hanging on the download, not doing anything
