I'm a rolling stone.
15.0 (24A335) — the release from immediately after the September 10 extravaganza.

Ah, I was offered the previous version in SystemSettings. Today another version popped up. Must be the 24A335 so.

Edit: It is 24A335. Absolutely no issues installing this one. Using 2.0.0n. Thanks!

using the oclp 1.50 version?
I used the 2.0.0 Nightly version, and Updated from Sonoma via system preferences. Installed OCLP 2.0.0(n) first to the EFI partition. Then let Software Update do its thing. Then once Sequoia was installed, OCLP told me I was running without root patches, so Wifi and Camera wouldn't work on my 2017 12" MacBook10,1. So I ran the root patches, and rebooted and voila. Working great.

I'm getting notified of an OTA update available to Sequoia 15.0 on the rMBP10,1. Not sure what it is, probably the RC? Currently on beta 8 which is working fine. I think I'll ignore it and wait for the public release.

Has anybody else seen the iMessages beachballing/unresponsive with the MBP 13,3 Touchbar Mac?
Reported FaceTime camera issue for 12" MacBook 9,1 in post #585 although Camo Studio works. However, no problems with iMessage on either MBP 13,3 or 12" MB 9.1
Updating the 12" MacBook (not Air or MBP) 9,1 from 15.0 beta 8 to 15.0rc (24A335) fixed the Facetime internal camera issue I reported earlier.

why wait so long? It really works without any problems
I don’t jump when one person reports success. I wait for multiple people with the same machine but different setups to report success. I’m not in a hurry. Sequoia isn’t even out yet so I wouldn’t even be updating if it was supported.

If someone has missed it, Sequoia will be released on Sep 16, so waiting a few days is now a good idea.

You are the only one who knows which Mac machine you are waiting for.
Only if you don’t read every post. 😉

I upvoted and replied to the post where it was announced sequoia worked with the late 2013 iMac 27” 14,2. I still use a wired USB 1.1 keyboard and have at least one 30” Cinema display running off the 4GB Kepler video card.

No hardware upgrades except SSDs and 32GB ram.

With OCLP 2.0.0 these issues have finally been resolved.👍🏻

Ok. MBP11,2 and MM7,1 both working again with Sequoia RC and OCLP 2.0.0 (nightly). I can edit widgets, play video on Safari (Youtube). Netflix is very laggy on Safari, but works on Firefox.
Purchased movies on AppleTV work as well.

@macpro_mid2014 and all other MBP 2013-2015 (iGPU only) users
Would you please check in the Photos app if the following error is also fixed:
When editing portrait photos, the Photos app always crashes in macOS Sonoma on my MacBook Pro 11.2 (iGPU only).

Memojis and Memories Tab in photos working. But trying to edit a picture - regardless what type - ends in a "Cannot Start Editing. Please try again later".

The update to Sequoia doesn't appear for me from Sonoma. Let me explain better: sometimes it just spins endlessly, sometimes nothing appears, and occasionally the RC shows up, but when I click download, nothing happens. I'm using OCLP 2n. Does anyone have a fix? Should I download and install it manually? Is it normal that if I do a PRAM reset, I have to reboot with alt to select the EFI partition?

EDIT: I fixed it with sudo rm -rf /Library/Updates/*.

More of a quick fix go to mrmackintosh.com and download a full installer (max on there is beta 8) then update to OTA rc after that ?

Would you please explain exactly how you use this.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any instructions on the website.
I've talked with the autor of this app yesterday via GitHub because there was a prolbem with the toggle/switch to enable/disable Gatekeeper in Sequoia (was ok in Sonoma). Now in this new version (v 1.7) is fully functional and when you disable the switch for gatekeeper "off" you are redirected to System preference to disable it via installing a profile double clicking on it. The same is for revert back to Gatekeeper "on" (run Silent Knight to check).

And we're done - I'll update my development iMac now too - it's a 2015 5k 27" so should be fine :D

Once again - so glad to be a supporter of OCLP - keeping our old expensive equipment working :D

Thank you everyone on this forum and all the team at OCLP.
