fine but not fix the grey background after reboot
I don’t think there will ever be a fix is it not to do with the loading times was suggested on Discord between login and desktop appearing? ( unless you set your wallpaper to grey) .
fine but not fix the grey background after reboot
It was never the gray background that bothered me. It was the fact that the gray background meant that the machine was slow to start. And damn, it really took a while for everything to be fully loaded. After the last updates I always waited a couple of days and then did SMC and NVRAM resets and the problem was solved. My machine behaves like new.I also have the gray background after every restart, I once removed the root patches from OCLP and then restarted, the gray background was no longer there, then the root patches were reloaded and the gray background was there again, I guess we have to live with it, or not shut down the iMac anymore.
The guys from OCLP are not magicians 😉

That almost sounds like voodoo 🫣It was never the gray background that bothered me. It was the fact that the gray background meant that the machine was slow to start. No voodoo needed, just housework. Maybe we need to manage expectations more? That almost sounds like voodoo 🫣

For me the grey background started with Sonoma on my MBP 11,1fine but not fix the grey background after reboot
Also true when your Mac / PC is fully supported by the OS / Application (and you're not using OCLP).Staying on a version that works until bugs are ironed out is of course always good practice...
Yeah, that's weird for sure. I can drag to other drives, but not to USB sticks? That's weird. I just bounced a file in Pro Tools ( Wav. with 2024.10.1 on Sequoia 15.2 ), I can drag and copy with no issue to any USB drive or stick. I've never seen something like that... Maybe some permissions problem? Have you tried bouncing it to a different destination?

Is the setting also activated on the Mac?Apple Watch does not unlock mac. It did on 15.0.1.
I've never encountered this issue; it's always active.@All
Does your MBP also regularly deactivate the iCloud+ "Find my MacBook" [translated from German, may be called differently in your country] setting since macOS Sonoma?
How many devices are registered with that AppleID? I have seen this before. I used the same AppleID on my backup device and it got turned off (expected) on the other machine.I've never encountered this issue; it's always active.

It was activated still. I tried to deactivate ,reboot and activate again. Did not fix it.Is the setting also activated on the Mac?
Since upgrading from macOS 14 Sonoma to macOs 15 Sequoia, my MBP often loses the setting also.
Thanks. It was deactivated.Does your MBP also regularly deactivate the iCloud+ "Find my MacBook" [translated from German, may be called differently in your country] setting since macOS Sonoma?
There were no other MacRumors notifications regarding any other apple updates except iOS. So maybe later in the week as most of the time the updates are released together.iOS 18.2.1 just dropped - so expecting macOS 15.2.1 final also today ;-) FYI
well, now that my system is so stable again with 15.2, that tiny update will need to be very important for me to start all over again...iOS 18.2.1 just dropped - so expecting macOS 15.2.1 final maybe also today ;-) FYI
