It makes sense as it is for convenient. Assuming that you are using your mac so as to listen to some music on Apple Music. Then, you tend to watch a video on your iPhone. As soon as you get it up and running on iOS14, the AirPods seamlessly move from Mac to iPhone.
Yes, “convenient” for me to watch a video on my Mac, respond to a text on my iPhone and have my AirPods disconnect from my Mac and switch to my iPhone

Also, aside from that, when the notification comes up that it transferred to my iPhone and I click "revert", that does nothing. It's still a beta, so maybe it'll be fixed.

My big sur would turn off display immediately after screen lock, and force a log out, i.e., all running apps were closed whenever I log back in.

Anyone having this issue?

For me every time I install a new beta I need to run sudo /usr/libexec/configureLocalKDC in order to be able to login to any network server..After that everything works well.

Seems like the SMB issue is fixed.
Good evening,

I still don't have access with the samba 3.0.37 of my Freebox (French Internet Box), fortunately it has AFP on it...

No problem with my other network devices, the smb connection starts automatically.

Clock still too big and truncated.

B7 has fixed all my full-screen and zoomed app GUI glitches. I can finally turn back off the "Show Title Bar" in Firefox, which was my temporary fix for the glitches in its tab bar.

Photos no longer cuts off icons or hides the cropping "handles" when in full screen.

I've not tested it, but other posts suggest SMB is fixed.

The clock in the menu bar can now have its display format changed (e.g. 12- and 24-hour). They moved the clock display preferences out of the Date & Time area and into the Language and Region one in System Prefs.

I'll have to wait to see if Mail finally manages to sync the new mail banner with the unread count and the badge icon.

Calendar Alerts still don't have the option to pick from a selection of snooze times.

guys keep testing beta 7, we need more feed back pls!!! what else! get to it!! we are only like 15-17 days away from GM, we need to make it perfect

I can confirm that the "revert" option goes haywire every single time.

Hey guys, the Apple Music crashes, denoting that it does not up and running seamlessly. It is also quite sluggish. Sometimes, these notifications pop up whilst taking ages to have acres to the songs in my playlists.

In line with my previous post, have a gander at this short video, please:

Seems still macOS Big Sur is pretty buggy as the Auto Appearance does not work seamlessly. By the way, is there any place that we could set a period of time that should offer the Dark Mode like what we have in iOS?

Can't open 'Security & Privacy' pane in System Preferences anymore with yesterdays latest beta,
but at least SMB is working again to the Samba service (4.12.5) on my NAS.

Edit : After several reboots and many tries, it's magically working again....!

Does anyone else experience this issue with b7..... volume either unmutes (menu bar icon changes) without user intervention, or sound plays despite volume being muted (menu bar icon still show muted)

MBP 16" .... it's really frustrating. I was watching a YouTube video on mute and it just keep unmuting itself, id have to toggle mute on/off on Touch Bar to mute again, then 30 seconds later the same. Happens on other things too

Anyone else notice that beta 7's build number went from e to g? Seems rather odd?

Also noticed that the Date & Time preferences pane is super sluggish and even causes System Preferences to completely lock up.

Beta 7 works otherwise fine, but unfortunately Sleep > Wake > kernel panic is back. I had the sleep timer set to 30 minutes, and it's panicked twice today already. I turned auto-sleep off, the computer is now always on. Feedback sent.

BridgeOS has been updated. There's no longer a 20 second wait between Power ON and chime/logo.

Beta 7 is much much smoother, really feels solid now.

The only thing that's bugging me is the wallpaper tinting which is just too much, with the default wallpaper all my windows are pink. I'm aware you can now turn this off but would be nice if it was more subtle.

Anyone have issues sending to trash. We have apps that just saying moving but it never completes. Started in B6 and now in B7.

Also some system preferences in B7 seem very slow to open

We are finding a number of pref panes really slow to open
