Hey! Just got out of a ZOOM meeting, realizing that the cursor became pretty sluggish! Had to restart my MBP, followed by opening the ZOOM and it took place again!

Since last two betas my desktop image reverts to the 'Solar Gradients' dynamic desktop on startup irrespective of what image (Apple provided or one of my own images) I had previously saved as default desktop.
I have reported this issue.

I seem to recall something similar way back with an earlier OS but can't find a solution. Any help appreciated.
(Update). Potential solution found on earlier post. Fingers crossed!

I am experiencing the same. Not a huge deal for me as I change my wallpaper all the time with the unsplash app. But wanted to put out that it's not just you.

For some reason the Dock is hitting >100% CPU load. Fans are at full blast.

Anyone have issue with unlock with Apple Watch, not working? It was working good for me prior to 11.0.1

Yes, on iPhone 12.
I had read this was a iPhone 12 issue and I went back to my iPhone 11 max to get it working again... if you go to forums and Apple Watch you will see what I did to get it fixed... someone posted they can’t get watch to unlock mac...

Thank you heels4real! I followed the steps in that thread, still did not work, but one post said to also turn off your iPhone, when the watch is on WiFi, try turning on the option, and that worked!

I have the same problem since the newest Big Sur beta. Other Catalina Mac can backup to that same time capsule drive without issues.
Could you check to see if you are getting permissions errors in the console? (search for backup)

I am also having issues backing up to a samba share with time machine enabled, catalina works.

Reported the issue, hopefully you do as well.

BTW, if you are knowledgable, can you modify files/directory through the /Volumes/.timemachine mounted drive folder? Basically this is where time machine mounts the disk and attempts to perform its actions, away from the normal mount points. This should be accessable and basically a normal mount and you could do something like create a directory (may need sudo) WHILE Time Machine is running (and has the volume mounted). If you don't know what I mean, please dont break anything. I get a permission denied error, so I think they moified something and the way stuff gets mounted is broken for TM only.

Hey guys! I am not certain whether this is an issue related to Big Sur or not, I am sharing it here anyway. I made a project in iMovie on macOS whilst it does not show on the list of projects on iOS version of iMovie!

Google Meet is really choppy (robot audio) in Safari before righting itself after about 10 seconds.
Oh, it doesn't right itself for me. It just stays choppy forever.
I've also had other audio be choppy of late, but not ALL audio ALL the time, so it's hard to tell.

I haven't found any solution though.

Release Candidate version seems to have fixed Safari crashing when clicking on the address bar.
