Teamviewer working on my iMac with 11.1 (20C69). Maybe you need to update the app?Teamviewer no longer working on 11.1 (20C69)
Same issue here.My Bluetooth menuling keeps reporting my Beats X headphones to have 84% battery, which is annoying as I don't know if I am running out during Zoom meetings.
Yes.Is it better for MBP 16" 2019 users to wait a bit longer before upgrading to Big Sur?
Thank youYes.
I would wait till at least 11.1 gets released next week and wait for feedback.
For me current build is very messy still.
How is not working? Can you remote into other computers? Or you can’t remote into your Mac OS and get a black screen? What’s the actual issues here?Teamviewer no longer working on 11.1 (20C69)
Same problem here with 11.1 -- and also, if I try in parallel to do a "ls -la" in a terminal window on the share I am copying my file to, the command gets blocked, until the transfer resumes, and so on...I was just curious if anyone has tried to see what SMB transfer rates were on Big Sur? Last night I tried transferring a big file over 1g ethernet and would get about 150MB/sec, then it would slow to a crawl about 10MB/sec for a long while, then send another blast around 150MB/sec. It would cycle like this over and over. The end result was a pretty slow transfer. I have Big Sur on a 2015 MBP to the same NAS and it doesn't have that issue. It gets a sustained 140-150MB/sec.
Anyone experience this and have there been any fixes?
macOS 11.1 (20C5061b)
I have noticed that my BlueTooth connected non-apple speakers/ear pods are unusable due to the miserable sound quality. Terrible cracking & popping noise & muffled music. I am not sure what release of Big Sur Beta started this because I usually run them from my iPhone or iPad.
Anybody else noticed this with their MBP?
That's too bad. Not sure how much more robust ccleaner is, but Onyx is an excellent choice. Been using it for a number of years, and a Big Sur version was released on Monday. I also use it in combination with Tech Tool Pro, and both of them work well together.Beware of ccleaner mac. This causes many crash reports. ccleaner was one of my favorite apps for mac for years but now i can not recommend it anymore.
You don't need "cleaner" or "maintenance" apps to keep your Mac running well, and some of these apps can do more harm than good. Most only remove files/folders or unused languages or architectures, which does nothing more than free up some drive space, with the risk of deleting something important in the process.I am not sure which app i can use. i need some minimalist cleaning tool without system monitoring or scanning for malware. only a cleaner. is onyx a good replacement? or can someone recommend some other apps?
Onyx, and all the other "cleaners" available simply FORCE what the OS itself already does on a schedule. macOS already runs all the maintenance routines in the middle of the night, once per week, and once per month. All you have to do is leave the computer turned on....Logs, caches, cookies and junk files to clean up this is part of my maintenance behavior.
Why is there a white line between the window and taskbar? Is it supposed to be like that or is this a bug? If it's a design feature gotta say it does not look very elegant.
That's the window's frame in dark mode, not a separate line.
