Thanks for your help. I followed the steps, this does not solve the issue for me. Now none of my purchases are listed either. Seeming more like an account log in issue at the moment.

Apple services are having some glitches. I noticed the App Store thinks I haven’t downloaded my purchases yet if I open a purchased app it instantly recognises it and lists any updates for it. This works till next relaunch. Still at least I can update my apps now which is important as they’re getting Catalina bug fixes.

Loads of iCloud services have been down for a chunk of the day, maybe related.

Yeah, Saw the Macrumors article on that after I started the clone back to Mojave, heh. Likely they are related, but still, I have been having the App store login issues for a week now, and i the icloud thing only happened today, but hey.

Im into Beta testing, but not willing to go that deep down the rabbit hole at this point, with so many things having problems. I dont fault Apple at all and I'm not complaining, but Ive participated in all Public Beta programs since Lion, and Catalina is the most problematic ive experienced. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes a bit longer to release than people are expecting.

I had the same issue initially though it seems to have resolved itself. I had to go in to screen saver settings and set the directory I use for pictures again. Save and it worked fine. A couple of reboots later it happened again and I did the same as above. It has been working now for about a week or so with no further issues. I'm on DB2

Rather than setting it as a folder, is it possible to link to an album in the Photos library?
I'm sure this used to be possible, but now I have to choose a Finder folder, no option to select Photos Library - just a beta bug, or intentionally removed?

Am I the only one getting a "your computer restarted because of a problem" trying to boot Catalina? Both this newest dev Beta and the previous one. Mostly it just panics on boot and reboots, panics again. My google-fu is failing me :/

Anyone else, at least anyone working with Jetbrains software, finding their applications constantly crashing because of kernel conflicts?

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGABRT)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000000
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Ugh ever since the new update, I can't access my local router 192.168.1.1 -- It keeps looping me back to the unsecured warning even if I already choose to proceed. I can acccess however on my iPhone running developer beta 3, and other devices here

I did the update and on my computer Music app is stuck on "Charging music library" since the second launch of the app. The first time, none of my songs where load by Music, so I thought that relaunching the app would work but no.

By the way TV app as the same stuck behavior...

How did you manage to get these info on your screenshot? It could be interesting to have those type of info when we submit report to Apple via the Evaluation Assistant...
Mine loads fines, however I can't control it using remote on my iPhone and back to search result button is missing when clicking on a search result

My only bugs as of this point are, the second (public) beta will not download because it says I need 17 gb available space, I have 33 (and the download is only 4), and the App store won't let me sign in or update apps. Download/Update issues. I'm currently searching the comments to see if anyone has similar issues. I am on Public Beta 1, MacBook Air 2013.

In 6 years of beta testing, this is only my second major issue, after two years ago's kernel panic when updating the files.

I think that’s happened to me on Mojave, not sure if it’s new to Catalina.

Thats been happening for some time now, even in Mojava. I spoke to an Apple rep about it and they said they cannot differentiate between allowed devices.

Had the same issue, I had too little space to download, deleted several GB of Apps, even at 23 GB I couldn’t install the beta, later on I could, I can’t exactly recall what I did, I know though that there’s a new disk which takes a minimum of 10 Gb away from your sad/HD, Apple explicitly warned people for this release, it’s fairly buggy at this stage, timemachine is a mess, my system was very unresponsive, due to low space I later found out, beta 3 is better although timemachine is still much slower than molasses.

My most annoying bug is photolibraryd running still in background eating 5-6% of the CPU (PB2)

Is anybody else's iCloud on the Mac showing a bunch of new folders (GarageBand, Keynote, Numbers, etc.)?

One annoying bug with Catalina is when I geotag my photos it has changed the location on every single one to the same location and I have about 14,500+ photos to redo but when I change them it changes all of them.

Every folder in iCloud Drive duplicated.

iCloud Drive and spotlight-related processes running my CPU at 100% 24/7.

2 shutdowns yesterday due to kernel panic.

Literally the worst beta I have ever run on any Mac.

Yea its a total disaster. And not one we should even attempt to fix, given the way iCloud Drive works. The only thing we can do is hope Apple will address it in an update closer to release.

I had the same issue and I just deleted all the duplicate file, no problems so far

I tried deleting the dupes on my iPad running iPadOS 13 and iCloud threw an error when I tried emptying the trash. Eventually, the dupes came back, so I tried again, which seemed to stick, however again crashed when trying to empty trash. I haven’t checked to see if the dupes once again came back.

My iCloud is in an upload loop on both my iMac and MBP.. I'm really glad I don't have capped broadband as I'm uploading >100GB a day if finder is right.. It counts down, then the number grows again.

And it still misses the folders/files it actually SHOULD be uploading, choosing to reupload stuff that's already there. At least it's not duplicating anything, but.. Huuuhhhhh? If any significant number of users are having this problem no wonder iCloud services are having issues.

(I've tried logging out of iCloud and back in again..)

I'm having all sorts of issues with Photos and the way it handles metadata (EXIF, IPTC whatever) but that isn't one of them.

Just to rule out the obvious ... you're only selecting one photo when clicking "info", right?
