Really had it. These are the most garbage macOS betas I've ever run, and by far the most unstable beta 4 I've ever seen.

My MacBook Pro 2017 boot very slow with last 2 betas. I tried to reset smc but nothing. Does anyone has similar issue?

I have the same issue, try to disable apps that start at boot, I removed some apps and left only 3 (F.lux, Qbserve and Resolutionator) today my computer booted faster than before. Still on Developer Beta 3

Btw, my MacBook Pro 2018 runs very hot on Beta 4. Does anyone have similar experience?

Yup.

Not fixed in today's beta. May even be worse

Spotlight was the first issue ("mds_stores") and Photos's "photoanalysisd". "IMDPersistenceAgent" is very ... persistent in hogging CPU usage too, but I think it happens more when I have my iPhone or iPad within Bluetooth distance. I was over 65ºC "idle" when plugged in, but got Macs Fan Control to run my fans more liberally.

Thanx for your reply!
With clean install and no apps I have the same problem.very slow on start up and freeze for some time when shutdown

I’ve gotta say, coming from someone who said the first three betas were ****, this one really is stable on my MacBook at least. iCloud is functioning as intended and none of my JetBrains IDEs panic now when I try to simply edit a file.

Granted during the third beta, I did a complete re-initialization of iCloud, but I’m running smoothly now. If I wasn’t reading the above I would almost think it’s release worthy.

freezing when shutdown also happens to me every time tough.

I downloaded and am updating to the current beta but during install now it’s been stuck at around 25% estimating via the progress bar. Ideas?

Same here. Left it installing last night and this morning was just a black screen with a cursor.

Had to force a shut down by holding the power button, but on starting up again I get as far as the Apple logo and the progress bar stops at about a third of the way. This happened on multiple attempts.

I've now left it overnight to see if it just needs a long time, otherwise it looks like I'm going to have to wipe and go back to Mojave.

I’ll let it sit and see. Keep me posted.

I noticed , at launchpad, some applications in the utilities folder are missing ( terminal , disk utility etc),but are normally located in the Application folder through Finder

I noticed a lot of my applications which don’t work anymore or are missing are now cleaned up there. But I still have Terminal

What did you do to fix your wifi issues if you don’t mind me asking. I can’t connect to WiFi at all.

I went into my router settings and unchecked 'Always use this ip address' then on the mac renewed DCHP lease in the Network advanced settings.

Apple says to turn iCloud Drive off and then on if its not syncing properly.

Well how am I supposed to do that, Apple? If I try to turn it off, it just fails with generic Preferences Error: There was an error in Apple ID preferences.

Unbelievable.

Trying booting into Safe Mode. To do that hold shift when your Mac turns on. It’s glitchy AF but you might be able to turn it off there.

Both the Music and TV app cannot load content. The display blank pages, no errors, nothing.
Had the same issue started in beta 1 and kind of got fixed in 2 but all the sudden stopped working again today . I went to my phone and log out of the Apple Music app , then log back in . Then on my MacBook Pro I logged out of the account and logged back in nothin happened. Then all the sudden it started working again a few minutes ago ( still album covers in my library are not showing ) . The transition from iTunes to Music has not been in my case smooth at all . I still have problems with iCloud but by reading the forums I realize I'm not the only one.
