Weather.app has an UI bug when view scrollbars are enabled to always be on, the scrollbar overlays with the temperature numbers. See what I mean with the red circled.

Reported this in the first beta, not fixed as of PB3.

Secure Enclave seems to have been broken. Tools like SSH config editor and secretive are broken so the keys can’t be accessed.

yes PB3 didn't have this problem... it's B4 and B5 that comes after PB3
Maybe mixing up the PB and DB numbers?

Developers preview/beta 5 = public beta 3. I'm on public beta 3 the one that was just released on Augst 9 or 10 depending timezone, which doesn't have the Spaces problem that I experienced in public beta 2, which I believe was released 1-2 days after developer beta 4.

on the other hand, on my Mac, cmd-` no longer cycles between windows within a stage. It does nothing when Stage Manager is enabled... Reported.

Anyone else seeing USB-C devices not coming back online when you wake up a system (Apple Studio in this case) after sleep?

My USB-C keyboard and headset both need to be unplugged and plugged back to work after system sleep.

I filed a feedback report on it.
I have this issue with my dell monitor. When waking from sleep, only one of the 4 devices attached to it (a webcam) will be seen. I have to unplug and reconnect to get the other 3 devices visible. All are Logitech G-hub devices. This also happens if I use a usb-a socket on my Mac studio.

this started (for me) on the previous public beta (and continues on the current 9 august one). affects everything (ie safari, pages, logic, etc)

i cannot move bookmarks in safari suddenly; clicking on one and trying to drag it does nothing (in the 'edit bookmarks' window). are others experiencing this?

This works perfectly for me. When I open up Weather, as a matter of fact, I see no scroll bars, even with data down below...

Works for me as well FK - must be something on your setup...

classic moment: bookmark issue fixed with a reboot. thanx killerbob & jsamuelson.

EDIT: interesting. if i click on 'tab group favorites', then, after that, i cannot move any bookmarks! can u guys check this?

EDIT EDIT: nevermind! quitting & re-opening safari fixes this, and right now, the issue above is NOT happening. just some glitchy behaviors.

When I set "Automatically" - I see a vertical scroll bar when I scroll up/down using my trackpad.

With "When Scrolling" - I do not see any scroll bars at all, even when I scroll up and down.

And finally with "Always" set - I still only the vertical scroll bar, and only when I have scrolled up or down at least once.

There is no way I can get a horizontal scroll bar, the boxes in the window simply get smaller and/or bigger if I change the size of the window.

So both mornings after installing beta 5, instead of waking up after sleep my 2018 13" MBP has restarted.

With icloud private relay turned on while connected to a personal hotspot from my iPhone if I perform a DNS leak test(browserleaks.com/ip), my ISP's DNS servers are also listed along with the usual Cloudflare/Fastly/Akamai DNS servers.
Though, when I'm connected with 'regular' Wifi like on my home network or hotel Wifi etc, there is no leak of the respective ISP's servers.
On my limited test, neither devices using the latest iOS beta nor the iPadOS beta leak any ISP's DNS servers when connected to the same personal hotspot from the iPhone.

In Public Beta 3, I am not able to view details about my Game Center profile:

When I click "Show Profile...", the page in App Store -> Arcade is not available:

Anyone else? In iOS 16, everything works.

I hear a pop/crackling whenever I put files into a folder or create a new folder. Is it happening to anyone else?
Im on m1 max mbp on beta 2

Mail is not working properly for me in Beta5. It appears to be working, and does not crash, but I noticed that at some point after while new mail that I am sending or email that I am replying to do not actually get sent and do not show up in sent mail. When I try to close mail, it does not close and eventually requires a force quit. Once I force quit, then it will then start to load new messages that have come in since the bug started happening. I then need to recompose and send the new emails in question.

I am not hearing that but I am hearing it when I send an iMessage. It has a popping sound almost like a speaker is blown. Other sounds and audio seem ok. I assume it's not hardware related but sounds similar to your issue.

When opening the Settings app, does the "Appearance" section display by default for everyone? It just seems weird to me, since opening Settings app on iOS defaults to "General" instead - which seems a bit more intuitive.

yes, it does that. perhaps apple believes that that's what most people use the most? either way, easy enough to go to what you want. a small thing, but would be nice to be able to set a default of our own. am sure others here would prefer it start at wifi, or passwords, for example.

Same here since public beta 1.
Had performed a "Erase all contents and settings" while on public beta 2. A lot of other bugs disappeared, but this one persists.
