I use CS6 on 10.14.4 on my 4/5.1 MP. Seems to work fine. Just finished a class in After Effects, and used this. Bridge works, too.I won't be able to use my Adobe CS 6 anymore

Hi, would you have a link to download the full version of 10.14.4. I am with 10.14.3 and when I go through the App Store, it sends me back to the update (and not the download of the complete installation).
My goal is to have a full installer backup of 10.14.4 to update it later if needed (and upgrade to 141.0.0.0.0).

I have High Sierra Boot ROM Version: MP51.0084.B00.
Can I upgrade immediately to 141.0.0.0.0?
And do I need to remove my pci-e OWC SATA III card?
Thanks. I downloaded the latest High Sierra installer 10.13.6 and now I have MP51.0089.B00.no, you must at 089 !!!

With 10.14.4 full installer, read the first post of the thread.I have upgraded my 4,1 MacPro to Mojave and it was running fine until the latest update to Mojave 10.14.4. My graphics card update is a RADEON RX 560.
Now, when unattended, and I think when attempting to sleep, the computer will crash. The crash log always contains the following the backtrace which I believe is a problem with the power controller.
Kernel Extensions in backtrace:

My boot ROM version is 138.0.0.0.0. I notice that 141.0.0.0.0 is what is mentioned in this thread. Could this be the problem? If so, how do I upgrade the boot ROM?
Read the first post of the thread.I consider to upgrade my second Mac Pro 4,1>5,1 to firmware 138.0.0.0.0 but I will continue to use High Sierra (HFS+) and Yosemite on this Mac. With a Geforce 980 installed I will get 5 GT/s link speed in this case. But I need Yosemite because I have older software installed and Airport doesn't work with High Sierra. (bad old Airport card). Is 138.0.0.0.0 compatible with Yosemite?
You don't need to do a clean install, just run the full installer. So if I understand correctly, the reason my firmware did not update to 141.0.0.0.0 is because I did an upgrade install rather than a clean install. Correct?
No.Could this be the problem of my computer crashing due to the ACPIPlatform.kext?
Yes, should work, but just opening the full installer from 10.13.6.will ask you to upgrade the BootROM to 141.0.0.0.0.If that is the case, here is what I would like to do to upgrade my firmware. I have a PCI card 1TB boot SSD and 4 additional 1 TB standard drives in my computer. I would plan to do a clean install on one of the other HDD's using the App Store installer. That would upgrade the firmware. After that I can go back to booting from my SSD. Do you agree that would work?
When everything is aligned, Mac Pro firmware upgrades are relatively easy to do. The problem is when you can’t upgrade and you have to troubleshoot.I was able to update the firmware to 141.0.0.0.0 while booting from an SSD in an internal SATA II bay. There was no need to remove my SATA III pci card or my USB3 pci card. I didn't zap the PRAM and I didn't reset the SMC. And it even worked with my Geforce 980 though I can't install Mojave because I have no nVidia drivers for this system. Definitely there is no need for a clean install to update the firmware!
Yes, should work, but just opening the full installer from 10.13.6.will ask you to upgrade the BootROM to 141.0.0.0.0.
Just open the full installer, it should ask you to upgrade your BootROM, even from 10.14.4.But I am already running 10.14.4. Do I need to open run the full installer from 10.13.6 or will the full installer update if I open it on 10.14.4?
Just open the full installer, it should ask you to upgrade your BootROM, even from 10.14.4.
Did you ever run Windows with your Mac Pro? Long story short, MP51.0087.B00 not having microcodes and Windows SecureBoot system makes havoc in the NVRAM part of the BootROM - a lot of Mac Pros bricked with this combo.First of all I like to express my appreciation to all of you that have contributed with insight and help with the issue of upgrading older Mac Pro machines to the latest versions of MacOS Mojave on this forum. Thank you so much!
After having read tsialex thorough instructions and other useful comments on the forum I finally decided to take the plunge and try to upgrade my Mac Pro (yet again!). Like so many others I started out from High Sierra 10.13.6 with BootROM MP51.0087.B00 and through the excellent step-by-step instructions on this forum I did manage to reach to a successful installment of MacOS 10.14.4 Mojave on a 120Gb Corsair Force 3 SSD (APFS formatted and SATA-mounted), with BootROM 141.0.0.0.0 and with my Metal-compatible NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 running a dual monitor setup without any problems along the way at all!
I like to point out that it was not enough to just upgrade from 10.14.0 to 10.14.4 the regular way in order to get access to the latest 141.0.0.0.0 firmware update. For that I had to download the full Installment package 10.14.4 yet again from App Store. -Just as tsialex have pointed out many times on this forum.
My hardware setup:
Mac Pro (early 2009, MacPro 5,1)
2 x 3,46 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon (total 12 core)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780, 3Gb
32Gb 1066 MHz DDR3
My future plans are to do a clean installment of Mojave on a larger NVMe M.2 card (possibly a Samsung EVO 970 card on a PCI-e slot), install a USB 3,1 card, upgrade Wi-fi and Bluetooth on my beloved Mac!
Thank you tsialex and all others on this forum for making it possible for my 10 years old Mac Pro to have an extend life-span, yet again!
