"Siouxer City." Nice. Of course, Iowans routinely call my hometown O-scum-wa, so I definitely feel your pain.I don't mind at all - and I'm sure this will be totally interesting to everyone! I grew up in Siouxer City (Sioux City) on the west coast of Iowa. Went to college at Iowa State, in the central coast, and now live in Iowa City, near the east coast. So, slowly but surely, migrating east - eventually I'll end up in Illinois or somewhere!
I wonder if I'll have my Magic Keyboard before I move again?
That was fast. How long did you have it for? It’s pricey but worth every penny for what I use it for. I was going to buy the 12.9 2020 pro. But I’m glad I stayed with the 2018 11 pro My only knock is the keyboard is heavy.

My favorite is "Council-tucky" for Council Bluffs! It's a two for one!
24 hours - knew immediately that I did not need it. Feels like it would be worth while when we can travel again, right with ****** software it seems like overkill and a waste of space.
Another data point if your MKB has also been stuck in shipping limbo: Tonight UPS finally updated my shipment with an estimated arrival date (Monday 27 April 2020).

I think for me...I’m going with a combination of the Magic Keyboard and Smart Folio (not the keyboard) for when I want to keep things light (ie couch surfing, on a plane for entertainment, angled drawing in landscape mode, etc...)....oh yeah, and to use in portrait mode when I’m on Bumble (ie too much of a risk of right swiping on the wrong woman if I’m looking at them sideways 😉).
I have the 2018 11 inch IPP and was able to get a charcoal Smart Folio new (on clearance) for $50...so not as big of a hit to have both. I just don’t like to use the IPP without a cover. I find it far too ”slippery“ and can’t get a good grip on it otherwise.

Late to the party, but ordered yesterday (4/24/20) with a May 19 - 27 delivery estimate. I wanted to wait on the reviews until I spent the money. It wasn't so much the opinion of the reviewers I needed as much as seeing it in action (I miss being able to go to the Apple Store!). Anyway, hoping for a little earlier delivery, but enjoying reading everyone else's experience.
Are you in the US? If so, check out Best Buy...just looked at their site and they can deliver by April 30.
I am, but I got the government employee discount from Apple. I also wasn’t sure about getting 3% back on Apple Card if I ordered through Best Buy.

How well does the Microsoft mouse work on the iPad? I use mine with my work laptop, a Dell XPS but it’s a great concept of a mouse
So far so good, the touch scrolling is a bit slow. To be honest i gravitate to the trackpad more right now. As I start to use LumaFusion it will be mostly mouse work then.
I figured... probably similar to 3rd party trackpads on iPadOS 13.4, and probably why Brydge isn’t shipping the Pro Plus for another couple weeks so they can improve the trackpad.
I'm immune - my wife and I both went to ISU, but she got her masters at UI, so I'm allowed to live in Iowa City with her! But, if I had to choose, it would be the Cyclones. I have one ISU sweatshirt that I only wear on Iowa home football game days here in IC.

Fingers crossed for you! Mine finally left Ontario, CA last night around 11:45. UPS has it coming by 6pm Monday, but I'll believe it when I'm holding the keyboard in my grubby hands!
I started to hold out for the Brydge Pro + as I am currently using the Brydge Pro, but opt for the MK due to the poor reviews. I also like the smaller footprint the MK gives.
Should've ordered from BB. Was supposed to be delivered Thurs. Then moved to Friday. Now it's out for delivery today but has hit an 'unexpected delay' with scheduling to be updated. Literally four blocks away from me.
Not only do you not get the 3% from Apple, Best Buy now only gives you BBpoints if you use THEIR card.
