Weren't they supposed to already been shipped out and received by people today? That's what their CEO or whoever said on March 26.

Looking at Youtube for todays videos.. nothing is up. Wonder what's up

Side Note:

it's no coincidence that Apple is calling the iPad a Magical and Revolutionary product. For those of you that don't know, the word JuJu (JooJoo) stands for Magical.

LOL...what a knock off...they can't even spell the word right.

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means"
The term is usually applied to products which fail to emerge after having well-exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product, or when the release date is delayed repeatedly without adequate evidence of specific unforeseen hurdles that cause these delays.

Check-all, at this point. When it starts landing in the hands of people who ordered it, I'm willing to re-evaluate.

Now before I start I would like to point out that I ordered a 32GB Wifi iPad and am really, really pumped. At the same time when I saw the Joojoo (dumb name I know) I was interested. I heard they shipped on Friday and people were supposed to get them today. I was surprised that neither Engadget or Gizmodo posted any hands on impressions. Did they not order one to test out? Does anyone know of any sites that did a review or hands on impression? Thanks.

I'll assume you don't know the history of the JooJoo pad? If you do, I'd advise taking a step back and seeing not only if they ever ship an actual product, but watch a few youtube video's of when it was the "crunchpad" and follow the story.

Aside from the fact the JooJoo is a web only, 4 gig memory, linux based? Front end, it's based on 2008/09 Arm CPU which has failed to impress many people when it comes to any sort of video, flash video or HD video. If you goto their site they are very, very vague with "tech specs" for a reason.

I think you have a better shot of buying 500 bucks on the Power Ball lotto tickets then actually buying/recieving a JooJoo. I think this is a money grab for their pre orders before they file bankruptcy and fold up shop.

This device back when it was going to ship, I think Sept 2009 at $199 looked like an ok device because it was netbook spec'd and a web only browsing device. Somehow they changed a few UI graphics, and it somehow went up in price 2.5x in less than 4 months without any hardware changes?!?!!? I call BS. They have pushed the shipment dates back several times, encouraging "pre orders", which imo as I stated already is a money grab before they shut it down.

I recognized it, but I don't see how it's relevant. The Joojoo is vaporware, Inigo.

I could care less about the JooJoo, but when I saw the Vaporware term it reminded me of the movie. I didn't think I would catch so much flak for the quote. Regardless, the term is subject to interpretation and some would say that since it has shipped its no longer vaporware. Before you jump on me about that, I don't have a side, since I don't care about the JooJoo, just pointing out that the word is subjective.

I would like to know if ANYONE has actually gotten one. Until I see a report from someone who actually has it in hand (complete with video) I still think it is vaporware.

I'm not going to search for it but Engadget posted an article about this the other day. Customs held the JooJoo shipments a day or two for some reason but now they are moving again. A guy from the company said that people should receive them by April 2 at the worst case scenario. He provided a screenshot of the entire JooJoo shipment online tracking and it indeed showed customs holding it and not letting it go further

Ah..I see you've jumped over to another thread to push your 'Apple sucks' agenda.

Dave...Dave...Dave...
Just because there is NO comparable 'mainstream' consumer product made for microsoft lovers is no reason to come into our house and try to jack us around. When the iPad is delivered on Saturday you won't shut up. You'll just find the little negative tidbits (and there will be a few) and come back here. I know you have already stated that anyone who doesn't like your opposing views can just ignore them..ok..if your view had merit I would. All your 'views' are just window dressing for a troll in fanboy tights who thinks it's fun to log into a PRO-APPLE website and make fun of their products...I've said it before and I'll say it again...

'If you wear your McDonalds uniform into Burger King and shout "the king sucks" someone is going to yell back' :p

Now...please tell me when your shift starts I want to come in make fun of you when I order my Big Mac...:p
