SO the new Moto 360 is coming soon, right? Maybe June time.
The rumors seem to suggest that. My question is will android wear still continue to be supported on the 1st moto 360. I just got mine, and I love it. I can't see why it could not continue to be supported.

----------

Really liking the 360. I really hope android wear will be supported on iOS. If that happens then I know for sure I made the right choice. I really was thinking about getting the Apple watch, but the price, and limited watch faces really held me back. I really like the openness of pretty much putting any watch face you want on android wear. I feel like the Apple watch is very limited with the watch faces. A smart watch to me is for changing things up. If I want the watch to look nice I go with a analog face. If I need something a little more sporty go with a digital face.

BBY has a deal where if you buy a smartphone you get $100 off the moto360. Nice thing is, the motos are already on sale for 220/180 so thats a net cost of 120/80.

You can score yourself one of these bad boys for $55 at Best Buy right now. Buy either a ZTE Zinger for T-Mobile prepaid or LG Tribute for Sprint/Virgin Mobile prepaid (which only costs $40) and it takes $100 off the watch. Pair that deal with the $25 EDU coupon and you just scored yourself a Moto 360 for only $55. All you have to do is offload the phone somehow.

Seriously!? For $55, I might. I have little to no interest in smartwatches as they stand currently, but for that price, might be fun to just try.

Could you just return the ZTE Zinger or whatever later on after you've bought the M360?

You cant return the ZTE because it's part of the ' bundle package '. If you do, you will be charged the full retail for the 360.

The verizon promo ended yesterday where you could trade in the ZTE and receive a $100 GC [ $25 trade in value + $75 promo ] good towards Verizon accessories or bill credit.

Also, the price of the ZTE dropped to $18.99 at Walmart which BB will most likely PM, so there's that.

Basically, as it stands now, you can get the Moto 360 like so :

$179.99 [ Add $39.99 for the bundle package ]
- 10% USPS Mover's coupon [ available thru USPS's website ]
- $25 Student Coupon
- $100 Bundle Discount [ if you pay $39.99 ($18.99 if you successfully PM with Walmart ) for the ZTE Zinger - a TMobile prepaid android device ]

Now, if the Verizon trade in was still valid, this deal was a real give away!

Still, at around $120 - $130, the 360 is a great buy. The 2nd gen 360 should be out soon, and iOS may be coming to Android Wear per rumors.

Just snatched one of the stainless steel band ones for $139 out the door (was 219 on sale normally), I was too lazy to do the USPS or it would have been even cheaper. It's a no brainer at that price, and when the new version comes out in June I'll just throw it up on swappa for $100.

Question, is that ZTE Zinger unlocked? I'm thinking of just using it as an emergency phone for my ATT account. Otherwise what are you guys doing with it?

I didn't even check if it's unlocked... just flipped it for $30 on Craigs and was done with it..

I *think* I read it's unlocked on the Slick Deals thread https://slickdeals.net/coupons/amazon/

Nice! Good info, all.

I'll think about it. If there's any smartwatch that I'm remotely interested in, it's the M360...

Now, what strap to get... I'm thinking the black leather or the champagne metal.

Wow just saw someone post that Walmart has the ZTE for 20 bucks, so I'm going to go price match this. That means I got a stainless steel band version for $119.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I would just put my sim card in, but I'd rather sell it sealed.

Not sure if it's worth the trouble.. but you could open it, check for sim unlock, and it's locked exchange it for a sealed one! [ not the most ethical thing to do .. but whatever ] :p

I would've bought the champagne steel [ albeit not available in any B&M around me ] but I wanted something adjustable, so sprung for the black leather.

The cognac leather looks pretty sharp too!

My deal:

$179.99 + $19.99 [ ZTE PM'd to Walmart ] + tax [ 8.25% ]
- 10% Movers
- $25 Student
- $100 Bundle discount

Flipped the ZTE on craigs for $30
Used BB RCs worth $30

Net around ~$12 :D

You can get this for under $100 at Best Buy. I am thinking about picking one up tonight. But I don't have an Android phone...but the app is supposedly coming out soon from Google...maybe next month during their conference?

Google making an Android Wear app for iOS is one thing. Apple actually approving the app and allowing it on the App Store is an entirely different issue. I can't see why Apple wouldn't approve it but they've blocked apps for trivial reasons before.

Since Microsoft has their band app for iOS on the store (my wife uses it on her iPhone 5S), and Pebble has their app, it would be in antitrust territory for Apple to deny Google.

Now that I have an S6 Edge, the Moto is very tempting!

Best Buy has shut this deal down. Now, you have to activate the phone in order to get the $100 dollars off the Moto 360.

You also can no longer price match the ZTE Zinger (Walmart had it for $20).

Oh well. You might get lucky depending on who you ask, but the BB I went to nixed this deal. Congrats to those who got it, though.
