My only concern with the Nexus 6 is the display. If it wasn't for the Note 4 display being so kickass I would have waited for it. But I've owned Amoled phones for the last 3 years (Nexus, Note 2 and Note 3) and my only criticism was the "crisp" factor. The iPhone display always appeared brighter and crispy compared to those Amoled displays. The Note 4 changes all that in Basic mode. Hopefully the Nexus 6 is better than the Note 3 when it comes to brightness but if the Droid Turbo is any indication I doubt it. The Turbo's brightness level suck hard.
For me without a good display the entire experience is affected. Next would be the lag factor which the nexus should win. But after using the Turbo for a short period of time I did not see a speed difference. Nexus will shine once you start loading up custom roms.
I feel like you'll only notice it if you had them side by side. Normal day to day usage you probably won't even notice the difference.
Amoled vs LCD
The Amoled has far better blacks, whites and screen uniformity but the colours can be a little cartoony for some people. Apple does have a patent for their own OLED screen and I wish they would go with it.
What you call "washed out colors" on the iPhone, I call "oversaturated colors" on oled displays.
Sure it's the best oled display with regards to saturation, but the iPhone 6 is still better (see Anandtechs review).True with many OLEDs but not in the case of the note 4.

Sure it's better overall, I was speaking in regards to saturation only. Measurements don't lie.Nope. Display mate says otherwise and the guy there has a phd and is regarded as a display expert. He says the note 4 is the best display they've ever measured on a smartphone. The iphone isn't as good.

I'm not saying that the note 4 doesn't have accurate colors. I'm saying that if someone says that the iPhone 6 has washed out colors in comparison, they are wrong. Or are you saying the iPhone 6 has less accurate colors? (again I'm only talking about color accuracy, the note 4 screen is better in other aspects).No. Go read displaymates review. In basic mode the note 4 exhibits extremely accurate colors, full SRGB. You also have the option of the full Adobe RGB as well.

I've read it. Again, I'm not saying that the note 4 display isn't good. Can't see where they compare it to the iPhone 6 though? Are you saying Anandtechs measurements are fake? http://images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph8613/68406.pngDear god go read the review, the note 4 in basic has more accurate colors than the iphone. Go read the displaymate review.
The iphone also has accurate colors I will add but the note 4 is better. If memory serves they are fairly close with the note 4 in basic mode but the note is still better.

Of course it's going to be the default mode. Which I assume is basic?I see no mention of what mode the note 4 was in in that graph, could have easily been in adaptive and not basic or adobe RGB.
All you have to do is open the display mate iphone 6 review and the note 4 one and compare, that is if he doesn't already have an article dedicated to that particular comparison.

Ok then.If English isn't your primary language let me quote it for you.
Absolute Color Accuracy
Note 4
Excellent Color Accuracy
iPhone 6+ and 6
Very Good
Excellent > Very Good. You can't achieve excellence if it's saturated but there are options to make it more or less saturated.

Anandtech is biased since he now works for Apple.
I'm coming from the note 2, every two years I switch os. So this go around its apples's turn. But today I saw my friends note 4 screen playing COD advanced warfare ad video on YouTube and instantly did a side by side comparison . The note 4 screen while playing videos, kills iphone 6 by 10,000 miles. iPhone 6 was washed out and looked pathetic compared to the plasma looking note 4. I'm so jeolous of that screen it's not even funny. Anybody else seen the note 4 compared to their iPhone 6?
