id love one, but a quick look on ebay reveals that the case is $100US and postage to australia is $400US hahaha! no thanks!

What about buying one locally, maybe one with a bad PS, MLB or one with the LQS that always fails lol

i doubt there would be many locally. ebay reveals that there are currently ZERO in australia. we are so crap over here.

Yeah that hurts, do you have a craigslist equivalent? craigslist over here in the states is just a website where people put items up for sale and its only for local stuff pretty sweet

The minimum specs are P4 3.0 Ghz, 16GB HD, 1GB Ram, 256MB Vram 6600gt/1600xt. So it'll fun fine you might be able to turn up the details the game utilizes a in-house IW 4.0 game engine, which is claimed to be a generation beyond the capabilities of the engine used in Call of Duty 4. My buddy runs it on a 9800gtx without a issue the 9800gtx is in the same class as the 4670 or 4850 more or less 512MB would be a must at that resolution.

2 companies are selling adapters (active adapters, uses power, with a custom curcuit board) made just for connecting the 24" Apple LED to non-Apple computers.

They work and have been tested. They also provide USB, so the camera etc. works.

Goggle around, they are out there and working :)

Thanks for all the info. You have convinced me to buy one after your comments on how well WOW was playing on it. Just placed an order for the i7 :)

Well doing nothing more but posting on these forums its purring along at a nice 30 degrees celsius. And user CPU load is 1% or less.

ok, great. but when you use iTunes only the CPU gets up to ~50°C (as you reported before). sounds as though the problem is still present. blast.

could you confirm?

I ran iTunes on its own video, and audio this morning and the CPU never went over 38 degrees C.

video is understandable because of the increased nede for CPU activity.

for audio the temperature shouldnt change hardly at all - unless the glitch is still present!

thanks for all your help in clarifying this error!
