Better!!
Okay...so I feel like I was one of the first people to discover this lag/sound issue with Pandora and YouTube. I reported it to AppleCare right away. After a good call and several attempts to do some repairs, the tech told me to return my iMac. *sad*
I got a new system, and the problems appeared on the new unit almost immediately. *very discouraged* along with a much slower boot time.
I was all set to return the second iMac, and NOT get another one *dissatisfied* when my husband hard wired an ethernet cable to the back and I turned off Airport.
*ELATION* I have NOT had a recurrence of this issue for over 24 hours now!! Everything is running flawlessly, I have not turned off Pandora since and I have paused it to watch videos on Youtube and CNN and it works great.
At least with this computer, it appears to indeed be an Airport/iTunes/Flash conflict of some kind.
I hope the upgrade addresses it. But, I don't need it to now, because if any wireless computing needs to be done, I can use my MacBook Pro.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!! YOU ROCK!!
