I haven't tried any gaming on it yet. I think it worths the 130e I paid for it.

I don't have any good PC games now. I got one but it's for Windows and I don't want to install Windows yet, maybe later.

This thing smells ****ing good.

Mine just came this afternoon. I have the GT130 in mine. I only have 2 games, the sims 2 and tomb raider anniversary. Tomb raider anniversary runs great with all settings on high! Sims 2 isn't as great, but its not the computer thats at fault, its because the sims 2 was ported to mac by aspyr, and not very well at that!

Well, ordered my 3.06 BTO on March 7th and got the payment validation this tuesday.

But the status remains "Not yet shipped" since then, what gives me a bit of a bad feeling. Anyone who has experienced similar delays?

Did you change any internals because there's 3.06 stock model too which ships in 24 hours?

I ordered my on 3rd and it shipped on 6th.

Hey Hellhammer how is yours going? Mine is going to be exactly the same It should arrive on Monday I wish they delivered on the weekend.

It's perfect, got it yesterday. I haven't played any games on it yet, because I don't have any Mac games and I don't want to play with Windows yet, maybe when Windows 7's RC1 comes.

It's beast, man, you'll love it!

And yeah I agree, I don't want to install any version of Windows on it for at least a while. And Windows 7 looks like a good option for the future.

W7 is nice but it's still far behind OS X (I got 7 in my laptop).

Fedex est. delivery

Hey guys, just curious.. Has the "estimated delivery" date on the fedex site been spot-on for you all? I have one that originally said it was being delivered the 19th and now it says 17th. I'm trusting 17th is right but since I have to sign for it I don't wanna miss it when it comes. (Just FYI it's the lower-end 24", I use a PC for gaming and don't plan on doing anything really graphically demanding).

I went for the numpad keyboard and iWork pre-installed.
I'm glad the status changed to "Ready for shipping" yesterday, though it hasn't been shipped yet. Man, the waiting totally wears me down...

Yeah, it's getting pretty painful. Mine shipped on Wednesday, but there's still no tracking number and I've got no idea when it's actually going to arrive.

Hi All,
I'm new here, but not new to Apple. I have a MBP15 and a 20ACD. The latter just got smaller and smaller after a few years of photo editing. I order a 24" iMac, 2,93, 4GB, GT130 ... on monday 9th of march and today it arrived.
It is HUGE!! I mean mine 20ACD is looking like a 15"...

I will test it coming days, now it is installing. See here my setup:

One thing, maybe just me, but I have a pretty big desk and I noticed this with external harddisks that the desk resonates with the disks. To get rid of this the lay on a thin pieces of foam. Now my iMac resonates as well, due to the internal HDD. When I lift it up it is not really noticeable. So I need something to put under it. Does anyone have this also? And what was the solution?

That's kind of what I was getting at. I didn't realise you'd changed something else. If you change anything, it gets built to order and shipped from China. Even mine where I only changed the keyboard and mouse for the wireless versions is on its way from China!
