new iPad pro next month

“Know” is a very strong word... I think it’s very plausible there won’t be a new iPad till spring. It’s likely that a release will come in the next month or so, but the rumors aren’t overwhelmingly convincing in my opinion. I’d put the odds around 2/3 that it’ll be released before Christmas and 1/3 that it’ll be released after Christmas.

It is coming. For all my non-french speakers out there... Apple registered 15 new ipad models for EEC! I don’t know why Macrumors did not make a big deal of it?

Edit: to avoid confusion of the number 15: 7 of them are unknown model numbers that were already registered under iOS 11 back in July but yesterday they updated it to iOS 12. And the 8 models are the same model numbers of existing models such as iPPs, regular iPad and iPad mini 4

Well spotted! I'd expect the usual suspects (Macrumours, 9to5Mac etc.) to be reporting this in the coming days.

These were reported back in July, so I don’t expect any of the news/rumors sites to make a big deal of it again to be honest.

What's significant about this filing is the update from the original iOS 11 to iOS 12

Just as CB98 stated the significance is that they are updated to iOS12. iPhones were also registered back in July in iOS11 but right before the September event they were updated to iOS12.

When were they updated to iOS 12?
 
Yes definitely nothing is certain! If we have an invitation of some sort this Tuesday then it is pretty much given they will release these iPads. this year, they released the MBPs 5 days after the registration.. so it is nothing confirmative but it is still better than nothing ☺️
 
Chances of seeing some sort of Haptic feedback on the new iPads?

Watching some of the hands on with the Xr they talked about how even though there’s no 3D Touch there was 3D Touch like features.
