Every time I go into the Apple store I always explore all the various products, and every single time I see the 12.9 iPad I’m shocked at how big it is...
Each time I use mine I am shocked how people can feel shocked from just using it.

How do you know?invites are coming in hours!
As a music student the size is invaluable. I can view full sized scores on the screen. Each time I use mine I am shocked how people can feel shocked from just using it.
My wishes for the next 12.9 inch model are:
-OLED display
-wireless charge
-bezel/weight reduce
I don’t feel the need for an update until those features come along...
Looks like no invites today...hopefully we’ll see them go out tomorrow.
Or Wednesday, Thursday! That would be my guess.
I dunno - for an event early next week? I wonder.
My guess is we’ll see an event maybe on Oct 30.
All lining up nicely...Someone else noted that Tim Cook will be out of the country on October 24th, so that week is probably out of the question. The following week is Halloween, which if I were Apple I wouldn't do it that week either. It is most likely leaning to an event next Tuesday (October 16th) or Wednesday (October 17th) with invites going out tomorrow or Wednesday this week. It would be good timing for Apple to send the invites out tomorrow before the Google Pixel Event or right after.
Major image retention is why I won't do an OLED screen bigger than an iPhone. OLED looks good but is not the best display technology, despite what people think. Micro LED is a better technology that Apple and Samsung have actually working on for years. It's superior to OLED, it produces the same black levels, great viewing angles, is less expensive than OLED, it's slimmer, brighter, and will not get image burn-in. I'll wait for that, OLED is not worth it to me.My wishes for the next 12.9 inch model are:

Agreed - we have two 12.9" in the family and they make the knockabout iPad Air we keep around for laughs feel like a Mini...Each time I use mine I am shocked how people can feel shocked from just using it.
"Further, we can confirm that Face ID on the new iPad Pro will work in both portrait and landscape orientations"
"It’s not clear if the new landscape support requires a special hardware feature, or if it can be made available to iPhones with a simple software update."
^This would be massive if possible.

Whether the next display technology is some sort of oled or micro-led, it will be far more superior than current LCD-TFT. I can’t stand the horrible viewing angles and shadow effect on a lcd displays, so I wouldn’t by any mobile device with it anymore.Major image retention is why I won't do an OLED screen bigger than an iPhone. Kallum.
Wireless charge on a 12.9 device? Very unlikely
I just hope Apple just release the new iPads in a news release and not do a presentation with the media and then wait a whole week to offer it for sale online and then another week for physical sales to take place. That is two weeks after the presentation to get the new iPads. So we are talking about last week in October possibly!
