I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I ordered it online just today and will get it Saturday. I was asking if anyone else has the combo so I could see. :)

It does look pretty awesome in the shots on Apple's site!

I'll try to post some pictures of mine later today. Don't have another camera with me right now besides my phone.

Sorry to hear that! Are you going to exchange it?

That's sorta been my point. It seems as if the other colors are perfect out the box (tan, black, saddle brown, midnight blue), but not the newer colors like Sea Blue or Charcoal.

Yeah I've already ordered a second one that should arrive tomorrow and the other is packaged for pick up today. I'll report back on tomorrow's results. Hoping for better luck since the color is really beautiful.

I'm debating returning my midnight blue for sea blue or storm grey (jet black 7+).

I fear it will get too dark.

For those with those colors, how are they holding up?

Anyone have a side by side close up of the Apple leather vs the Nomad leather? I'm curious how much of the case the Nomad goes over the screen. The Apple one is perfect but I would prefer the bottom protection.

I ordered a grey Nomad from Bestbuy, which shows it's in stock, but still have not shipped and they don't know why. I stopped by a Bestbuy yesterday and the ones they have in stock, Brown and Blue, were all scratched up. The cut outs were not symmetrical.

I don't have a picture but the front lip is nearly identical between the nomad and the last gen apple case. As for scratches that everybody keeps talking about, leather gets marks. Normal scratches buff out just with a little rubbing so those cases you're seeing in the store will change with a day or two of use. If you want a perfect looking case I don't think leather is the right case for you.

It's barely raised but it offers a little bit of protection. The marks and scratches will go away over time and to me personally I think they look great and add character. Just the way natural leather wears. I have had mine for a few days and it's wearing already.

So the Nomad covers the same amount of screen as the last gen apple, which is basically the same as this gen apple minus the aluminum buttons? I'm not talking about the amount of lift.

Also, the scratches i'm talking about are not the same scratches that everyone is talking about from daily use. And no, the scratches that I saw in the store will not buff out. Do you even have a Nomad? Have you been to a Bestbuy lately shopping for iPhone cases? Majority of those cases are in boxes that allow customers to touch them, take them out, try them on, etc. The Nomad included. These scratches were intentional. These are deep scratches that will not buff out. I wouldn't be surprised if these are returned items.

I never said I wanted a perfect looking case. But when you purchase something new, you expect it to be in a new condition. The Apple leather case that I have is in no way perfect. But it's the best I case I have so far. This is compared to the Spigen liquid armor, Neo Hybrid, Ultra Hybrid, Peel. It's leather and it's how leather is. But the cut outs are consistent, unlike what I saw with the Nomad. A slanted square cut out is not a square cut out.

I liking how it's wearing. Definitely looks more rugged compared to Apple.

Ignoring the rant, yes I have a Nomad. If you're asking about the charging port cut out, mine at least is angled on the sides, not a perfect 90 degree angled rectangle, more like a trapazoid shape but both sides are even.

Got my iPhone 7 in Wednesday afternoon, though I've had the case for weeks sitting in it's box awaiting the iPhones 30 day ship time... Anyway, I love the Saddle Brown so far. I had the black leather case on an iPhone 6 and 6s for two years before and it's still on it since I handed the 6S down to a family member. It's held up fairly well though some of the leather is starting to separate around the edges and plastic is showing now. It's all black so the scratches and dull spots aren't very visible.

I think I'm going to like how this one wears. It's paired with the Jet Black iPhone 7 and looks quite sharp with it. So far there is only one minor scratch on it, but I anticipate more and won't be bothered by them. Photos courtesy of a spare iPad mini with it's so so camera. But it'll do.

Well I'm back, lol. I returned my Saddle Brown the other day, but after a few days with a Spigen Liquid Armor, I decided the feel leather cases are what I prefer. So I went today to the apple store and bought a Saddle Brown and a black. Now I need to decide between these two. The black looks so stealthy on the matte black phone, I really like the look. But part of me feels if I'm going to get a black case, why not just use the TPU cases I already have. The appeal of leather to me is watching it age and get character over time, which kind of makes me lean towards keeping the saddle brown. Not sure which I'll keep.

I appreciate your pictures and video of the nomad case. I went to best buy and picked the last one they had last night. I normally don't use a case but the leather looks classy..... and I'm a little bias being a huge baseball fan!

No prob. I guess when I show some people the case they have been telling me it's wearing a lot quicker than the Apple leather case because it's wore down like this and it's only been since Tuesday. Worries me a little about how long I can run it. Never ran the leather case for an extended period.

yeah I agree that it will probably wear quicker then the apple case. But that's why we bought the nomad though, I cant wait to see what it looks like in a couple of months. Its gonna look like a well broken in baseball glove.

Reporting back. Second try is much better. Buttons are clicky and no weird light patches or wrinkles. Has a mark on the back but it's leather and will likely gain more marks in the coming weeks. :)

Well that didn't take long. After flipping the silent switch on and off a few times over the past 12 hours (most of which was spent sleeping), the leather has started to come unglued. My fingernail must have snagged it in one of my attempts to reach the switch. I guess I'll return it and just go caseless until I can get a used Apple leather case on eBay.

After posting a review at Amazon with the photo in this post, and returning the case for a refund, Jisoncase contacted me about the problem. They offered a free replacement case to see if it also peels around the silent switch. I'm using it now, and so far, so good. I can see a fingernail easily catching the edge again though. I'll keep using it if it happens again to see how bad it gets.

I just went out and bought the apple black leather case for my iPhone 7 Plus at the apple store, One question i have is this, looking at the iPhone from the front with the leather case installed on it, the sides of the leather case seem to bow outwards as it reaches the lower corners, is that normal? everything else with the case is fine
