Just got my saddle brown. These are such an improvement over the older model due to the new buttons. The clicks are as if no case is there. Perhaps better than the bare buttons themselves.

The leather seems to be softer and more buttery this year as well.

If they would only bring back the fully covered bottom, it would be the perfect case.

I got the black case with the matte black 7+
Love the case, but i feel it is hard to put it on and take it off.
Also, when putting the phone in, it presses against the buttons, i am afraid it's gonna break something.

My 6+ black case was softer, the 7+ one is a pain to put on while ensuring the buttons are not forced by the case lip.

I'm sticking with the same handmade cover from Ikonic Edge based in New Zealand, I have been buying their covers since the iPhone 4 .
Why ? Because the leather is real and not claimed to genuine leather like most , It really is, you can smell it .
It costs a little more than other similar ones but I can only say its worth it .

I used to love Ikonic Edge but my last sleeve was not as good a quality as previous one's. Is yours a new one and if so what's the quality like?

The sea blue came in. It's a little bright and the sleep button is bit stuck. Undecided if I should keep it. I don't need two leather cases, right? I already love the midnight.

No thanks. That does not look appealing to me at all.

Rocking a JB 7 with the black leather case and I love the black on black look. Black is also the more durable color. I initially got a black 7+ case and I did not notice any creases/marks whatsoever, and before receiving my iPhone 7+ I decided to switch to a 7 so Apple Store allowed me to return the 7+ case. The new 7 case is also flawless and I love the feel of it, in addition to the machined aluminum buttons.

Yeah, I take the case off at weekends and just spilt beer on it (don't ask!).... Apple website says mild hand soap so will try this. Now, where's my beer?

No need to ask about what happened haha! Not sure I'd recommend that. I had a brown leather case for my 6+ and the leather texture got slightly ruined after I cleaned it with a little hand soap and water (don't remember why I did it).

My navy blue iP6 leather case that I have had since May '15 I have always used leather cream that my wife has for her shoes and bags. It cleans and protects.

I have a silicone(cocoa) on my iP7 but I will get a leather cases for my 7+ if I decide to keep it, when I finally get it:rolleyes:

Anyone else use leather cleaner on their Apple case?

I generally rock my phone naked, but sometimes I use a case, and when I do, I use either a black or saddle brown apple leather case. When I receive them new, I put some of my Frye leather cream that I have for my Frye boots on them for conditioning and waterproofing. They have always looked great. This year I did one thing different with the saddle brown...I darkened it with coconut oil first, then after it had dried, I put the Frye cream on it.

Have you got a link to where to buy?

Anyone want a saddle brown for 7 plus? Returned my 7 plus so no need for it. Will sell for 35$ shipping included anywhere is United States.

how many weeks before the apple leather case becomes more grippy?

I think it depends on how dirty and sweaty your hands are. The grip is from the sweat, oil and dirt.

Just think how a plastic case gets tacky after your sweat dries on it.

My brother saw my nomad case and liked it so I ordered 1 of each color.

Nomad Brown, Apple Storm Gray, Nomad Gray, Nomad Gray (my current case), Nomad BlueIMG_4282.JPG

He ended up not liking any of them. The Nomad Gray really varies. 1 is more gray while the other is more black. I'm planning to return my Nomad Gray and keeping either the Nomad Blue or the Nomad real Gray. The blue is definitely more shiny than the gray. I'm leaning more towards the gray because I like how rugged it looks and it's also more matte than shiny.

There is just something about the blue that I just can't see myself using. I can't explain it.

In certain lighting conditions, the Nomad real gray looks very similar in color to the Apple storm gray.
