It is not that bad, and yea mine is at the top of the home button. Also on the side opposite the headphone side on the back. Does the side at the bottom where the back and front meet each other meet flush? Right above were you put a quarter or your finger to pull the case open there is just the slightest opening. I am just seeing if anyone's was this way.

I feel like the home button will fall off... Anyone else?

I think you should be ok. I think it is connected ok. It just moves a lot.

On the black nüüd case I got yesterday, the home button is straight and slightly recessed. Wonder if its an issue with the white cases?

What 'stuff' do you think will get down behind the button?

Don't you think people at Lifeproof would have thought of this?

My home button is above the rest of the case at the top. I don't think it was made to be like this. I am asking if because it is a little off could that not affect the case. I do understand they have thought of the home button getting water behind it, but if dust and sand did because my is a bit off could it affect it.

Mine home button is slightly raised on the top as well, but not enough that I think anything could get under it and it is still completely responsive.

I am in love with this case. It is perfect. I honestly feel this is what the Frē should have been. The buttons are responsive the speakers and microphones all work fine and, the best part, the screen is not covered by an ill fitting plastic cover.

I would definitely recommend this case.

The only way it could be better is if it were thinner, but it is already the thinnest waterproof case (less than a mm thicker than the frē).

I finally put my included screen shield on today and its tolerances are very tight. I know some of you were complaining about around the edges of the screen being exposed but mine maybe the tiniest bit at the sides but the top and bottom are nearly flush. After reading on here about the gaps, I started my install with a gap at the top to allow for gaps on the bottom but it kept overlapping. Finally I made it flush at the top and it fit perfectly with nearly no gap at the bottom. I have about a mm on the sides. There must be variances between the ones they are including. Also I do not have any rainbows. My desk light will show them quickly but it is perfect under that light. Very very happy just wish it were oleo but I can't have it all. So to everyone else, if you are worried about the screen and scratches, I would recommend trying the included. You may have one that is better cut than some on here.

Has anyone been using the case without a belt clip, and leaving it in your pocket? I just wanted to see if it is collecting a lot of dust and stuff in the corners of the screen.

Just bought my nuud case today. Sad part is that I also just had an Invishield retailer install their front and back screen today. I'm really hesitant of removing the screen protectors considering the price I paid.

Has anyone successfully used this Lifeproof case with an aftermarket front and back screen protector?

If not, I will just return my nuud case and go nuud with the invishield :)

Just got the black case. The button is perfect. I'm using it with a anti glare power support shield on the whole face and it works great. Didn't water test it with this screen on it. Not looking to submerge the phone, just protect it while I walk and it starts to rain.

Zero issues being up both lower and upper slide menus on iOS 7. Sounds great, and people can hear me fine. Got a winner here. :)

Is it a tighter fit with the Power support shield? Would it make a difference if you had one on the back as well?

I think the front only will be fine.

It didn't feel tighter. The back snapped right on with no issue. I feel a little pillow affect on the back side when pushing down towards the back side of the phone. Not sure if that's because of the protector being on or not.

Can anyone chime in and let me know if they fill it on theirs?

Thank you for sharing, so to confirm, you don't have a back protector?

Correct. No back protector, only a front power support anti glare screen protector over the whole front of the screen.

How does the Power support compare to an Invisible shield when it comes to thickness? Plan to do any waterproof tests?

I have never used that brand. Never been a fan of the water style protectors. From what I have seen in videos, seems those are a little thicker but I couldn't say 100% for sure

Mine had a bad microphone. People couldn't hear me. New case has a secure (albeit crooked) home button! :)

Funny story..

My fiancé and me were checking out and she said, "i thought these were $79". I was on the phone, and didnt pay much attention to this. Lol.. I was assuming the guy was going to say, no, it rings up as $89.99..

Well apparently, he changed the price to $79.99. I didn't find out until she started explaining it to me in the car, lol.

I'm going to marry a walking coupon.

I got the black case tonight from BB. Home button is slightly crooked and somewhat lose but not sticking up over the rest of the case. The sleep awake button is less tactile but ok. The side buttons work great.

I was able to get it to snap together with both front and back screen shields from Best Skins Ever. It did damage the back skin so I took it off. It seems to fit together just fine with a front shield on. I didn't notice any difference from using the fake iPhone supplied with it.

I like the case so far. Hopefully there will be no major audio issues. I don't plan on pushing this case to the limits.

No issues with my home button at all.

Did you try the water test with your front shield on? Or not looking to submerge the phone like me lol

I tested with the fake one provided, but I don't plan on testing with my iPhone 5. At least not on purpose. ;)

My home button is just slightly off. Most people wouldn't even notice.

Picked mine up from Best Buy tonight. The one I ordered had a crooked home button so I asked a sales associate to show me another one (they were locked up in large security boxes) and this one showed to be straight. My only concern is the home button feels a little loose. Not sure if anyone is experiencing the same.

I have the black model and so far I am happy with it.
