My home button is loose and makes a distinct "popping" noise when you push it. My wife says I'm hard to hear when I'm talking on the phone. I'm not impressed, and I think I'm returning it.

My button is recessed, straight and snug.

Hope this helps. Black color as well.

Same here.

I had to take off my newly purchased and store installed invisible shield back but left the front skin. Ran it thru running water with no problems.

Hopefully it will fair well if I dump it in our pool with the Invisible Shield Protector on the front. Can someone confirm this if this has already been done?

So you have zero play at all? Mine has some play and I wonder if that's an issue or not. I should probably conduct a water test to be 100% certain. Thanks.

I have a white nuud case and I do have a little play in my home button. I have spent the last 2 days at the river with the phone fully submerged in water and have had zero issues with it. I still have 3 days left at the river with one of those days being at a waterpark. So far so good.

That's great news!

Are you currently using a screen protector?

The home button looks like its held in place in the middle with a stretchy silicon so I'm almost certain over time all home buttons will eventually feel loose. It's on their pretty good so as long as the water test passes for me ill deal with it ;-/

Why are people leaving front screen protectors on when lifeProof highly recommends takin them off? The gasket is meant to seat on the glass of the device. Nothing like ignoring the manufacturer's advice on a $600 device. LMAO

I think that the thing is that some people feel more comfortable w/ a screen protector on the front and the thought of having a super protective case w/ no screen protection can be scary. So people i guess have been trying to use the case w/ their existing screen protectors, and this will negate the water protection and cause the case to come apart during drop tests, as seen on some you tube videos.

I did a water test on mine today and worked perfect! I'm amazed at the engineering behind this case. It's almost genius.

I also installed the screen protector and I have to say its great quality. Very simple to install and crystal clear. I recommend sticking to this screen protector over the aftermarket stuff.

I am currently also using the back cover of my Fré case which does in fact work. You will notice however that the nüüd back does have a noticeable "snap" when installed while the Fré cover does not. I personally prefer the look of the Fré back cover in the meantime.

Also tested the belt clip and like everyone else it doesn't quite fit. I'm going to contact life proof for a replacement. I didn't test the car mount but I'm guessing that wont fit either.

Could you post some pics with the screen protector on the case?

Is anyone else kind of scared this might be the best case we ever see lifeproof make? Now I think it is the best case ever made for a phone, but knowing that Otterbox has brought out and taken over lifeproof. Will we now see more focus on things like the defender since those sell better, and this is just a small part? I just worry these waterproof cases get put behind the cheaper and not as popular waterproof cases. I am not against Otterbox in any way because I have owned several defender and commuter cases, but once a big company like them takes over a very good but small company like lifeproof things don't always go smooth.

man if you are doing surf fishing, you might want to get the normal Fre' with full screen protection and all.

It comes with an optional screen protector to make it scratch proof. But good looking out.

I just ordered one on the lifeproof website so I can get the $10 insurance. Yesterday, I went to best buy but the sold out of the white cases and only have the black ones.

I'll post my personal opinion once I get they case and go deep sea fishing with it. My next trip is in August in San Diego ... Tuna!

So, after having the case since Thursday, I can still say I think this is the best case I have owned for the iPhone..period.. I mean I don't know what it is, maybe a combination of everything between knowing I can get it wet without worry, I can drop it without worry, I can get it dirty without worry, and the screen is normal and the home button being covered the way it is, is nice as well. Again, I am really happy with this case. Plus I love the see thru back. I bought a belkin case because I liked the see thru a while ago.

Now my question to you guys is. How many bought white over black? I wonder whats more popular?

I have a white iPhone with a black case and love it

I'm certainly hoping that is not the case. I'm not sure if it's just because I live in Florida where we have a lot of water or if it's like this everywhere, but I've noticed that I've started to see a lot of lifeproof cases on people's phones as I'm out. I'm not sure they're moving as many units as the defender yet, but I think it's definitely a mainstream case now.

However, I'm also kind of hoping that this is the last lifeproof case I need to buy. There are a few waterproof android phones out there now and I'm really hoping apple gets on board and produces a waterproof iPhone 5S or at least iPhone 6. At that point having a waterproof case will be much less important to me and I may consider other options.

Well after tossing and turning last night =) I decided to remove my newly purchased and vendor installed invisible shield but stuck them on a piece of paper in case I would avail of their warranty.

I installed the included screen protector with ease and no bubbles. Now I have piece of mind that Lifeproof is totally sealed.

I started noticing the same thing and I am in Alabama.. I started asking a lot of younger folks (youth/young adults) why they are getting lifeproof cases, and they told me because that's the new thing to do. Its double the price of the Otterbox cases and that makes it cool. Same thing as Jordan Sneakers or Tommy Hilfiger clothes.
My 14 yr old has been begging me for a lifeproof for her iPhone 4 all school year and when I said why, she said the same thing. Its the new cool thing to get.

I still want to see some reviews of people water testing them with aftermarket screen protectors. I mean some of these people who have iPhones to blow or warranties or whatever that drop test stuff all the time. I wanna see

You're most likely not going to see the average joe schoe brave enough to risk their phone to test it with aftermarket screen protectors..

It's those crazy people on youtubes with subscribers who uses knives and whatnot to test the strength of the strength....those are the people crazy enough to do this for us..

We just gotta wait and see.....eventually someone will do it

Question for the current owners: Can you put pressure on the lower right hand corner while holding the phone with the face in front of you, the one with notch where you can insert a coin to pop it open?

Does it feel like that it compresses like it is not fully locked, unlike all the other parts of the case which feels solid?

Wow I did not realize that people were getting these cases because they were the cool thing to have. I am 27 and completely over the idea having the coolest thing. I bought this case because I wanted the protection from water and dust and drops. I guess I can see that kids want them because the are the cool thing. I just hope that Otterbox does not hurt what lifeproof has going. I think back to about 6 or 7 years ago before AT&T had taken over Cingular. We were on Cingular and the customer service was great, and could not be happier. Then the big company bought up Cingular and joined and now we have the terrible costumer service, and just an over all worse company. It seems to happen a lot when big companies take over the same ones. I would love to see Otterbox keep the lifeproof team in place and keep them working only on lifeproof nothing else.

I think of felt that. I tried to look as close as possible when the case is put together, and it looks like the seal is there and working. I put my phone in the showing this morning and listening to music, and for the case soaked and it did fine. I think this must be the way the case was made, and we there is nothing wrong. That is just my 2 cents.

Yes I have some play or travel there too, but I don't think its anything to worry about.

No water warranty available on the Nuud phone cases. No matter where you buy it. Only for the Fre.

Just noticed that last night and it kinda bothered me.. Now I feel fine about it since I see others posting the same issue. Nothing wrong just how its made
