What case are guys using for your pixel or xl?

I bought the official grey silicone Google case but took it off after a few weeks due to how much crap it picks up so I just put a d-brand skin on the glass portion of the back.

Black Frosted Nillkin Case here. It's a shell with ample grip. Also using a tempered glass screen protector from Yootech with no halos!

Waiting on my DBrand bamboo skin delivery!

same here waiting for my dbrand.. planning to use it with ringke fusion....

All day on WiFi and no reboot. Shrug. I don't know. Either way, this is likely a return.

My conclusion of the Pixel:

It's a solid first effort by Google, but there are plenty of areas for growth whereby the price will be more justifiable.

Sorry to hear you had that experience. I've had the opposite with the Pixel XL. Completely bug free, has worked flawlessly (I've had it approximately just over a month. In fact, and this is the first time I've ever been able to say this: it makes my iPhone 7 Plus look like an old school Android-phone-buggy mess.

I also don't agree that the price isn't justified. It's far more stable than my iPhone. I use my phone for work, so I take it's function very seriously. The Pixel is the iPhone 7' Plus equal, and better in some areas.

Take this from someone who has used both platforms but generally defaulted back to iOS as "home." The Pixel XL is the first Android phone in my long history of using this stuff that's creating a scenario in which my iPhone gathers dust in a draw.

Hands down the Pixel experience is better than the iPhone experience overall. That's something I can easily agree with.

Performance is still flawless for me. If a Google phone with pure Android can't remain lag free, then no Android phone can.

Using it for almost a month... it still the best android performance so far..
No lags.....

Just curious... do u wait for 15% before u charge it? Or u totally drain it before charging?.. just to optimize battery life

Smooth as butter. I've had ZERO issues with either of the pixels. Hands down it's my most enjoyable android experience I've had overall.

Battery memory isn't an issue, you can charge at any point. The difference it will make is nominal

Both of my Pixels have been smooth as day one! No lagging even after days of use.
I am not missing iOS at all bar the iMessage functionality although Allo and Duo seem promising.. I have not been tempted to have a back up iPhone yet!
Even Snapchat is smooth on the Pixel.. that's a statement in itself! :)

Over the years I've noticed getting the best battery performance by fully discharging/recharging several times on a new device to get max capacity then fully discharge/recharge once a week for maintenance and avoiding fast charging to get the longest life ~3.5 years without degradation.

Has there been any update or news as to why Best Buy stopped carrying the Pixel XL, and only keeping the small Pixel ?

I ask because I have a ton of gift cards for BB, and would like to use those to help purchase a XL outright, but Best Buy people are telling em they stopped selling that phone.

I'm really interested in the Pixel not the XL. Coming from iOS how easy or hard is it to change ecosystems? The Pixel from watching video reviews seems on par with the iPhone 7. I hardly use Apple apps such as Safari, I use Google Chrome iOS. Thanks!

Just got my dbrand skin...

Its looks so nice...

I know they sold out of them pretty quickly. Maybe they just couldn't get consistent stock so just "discontinued" it. Looks to be the same thing with the silver Pixel. It is not available for shipping or pick up. Maybe when they run out of black the same thing will occur, it will just be gone.

How much SOT are u guys getting? I think im getting 4hrs at 15% left... 1day 3hrs standby...
This is XL....

I regularly get 4.5 to 5 hours screen on time (bar one blip).
The blip in question was a couple of days when the usage was very high due to the Facebook app.. so uninstalled it and everything is back to normal.

Facebook are such a huge company.. I cant believe they cannot figure out how to optimize their stupid app.. especially on Android! Its equivalent is much better on iOS. Additionally I DO NOT want to install another app to access my darn messages! Argh!

Sorry mini rant over! :)

Been watching a lot of videos on the Pixel and so far really liking it. If it was water resistant and had stereo speakers then I can honestly say it would be equal to the iPhone 7 and I would have gotten it instead of the iPhone 7.

I think that extra chin at the bottom of the Pixel next release Google will definitely use that space for something, maybe speakers.

The Pixel is definitely going to be iPhones sole competitor in my opinion for those that want simple hardware / software that works and runs buttery smooth.

I use mostly Google services anyway. The only reason I use iCloud is to backup photos and contacts. For everything else I use Google like gmail, Chrome, calendars etc.

Can't wait for the next Pixel release.

Guys do u use 3rd party usb c charger for pixel? What brand can u suggest?
And have u tried using ipad wall adapter for the pixel?
Do u think its safe?
