I'm going to pick up a new CC today if they are available at BB. Don't need one but only $35. Blah.

Nexus 5X isn't for me.
Nexus 6P is a cool device. I'll probably pick one up in due time when the prices drop into the $300s via eBay, Swappa, etc.

Yup! I'm at the page now hovering over the buy button BUTTT I think I'm going to wait until some reviews come out. No need to jump the gun on this one.

Preorder;
https://store.google.com/category/phones

Shows 5 weeks out for delivery, so the Nexus 6P is an early November release.

I have the T-Mobile Note 5, rooted and ROM'd so no hurry to get the 6P right now. Plus I'm on ' Jump on Demand ' and the Nexus line not being sold through carriers anymore, so more of a reason to pass right now.

Plus I want to see real world reviews of this phone first. I'd rather wait a bit, see if any bugs need to be ironed out first, and wait for ROM's to start getting created, etc... No hurry to be first in line here. Plus my current Note 5 is a beast :) :)

Specs on the 6P look nice enough but I find the design pretty ugly. And I can't criticize much about bezels since I use an iPhone ;) but at least there's a bit of an excuse there. If real world reviews show the 6P to be a top notch performer I can forgive the design but as Nexus phones have never been exceptional devices, I'm not holding my breath...

Did already pull the trigger on a Chromecast though. :D And the Pixel C looks to be pretty nice---clearly best Android tablet on the market, IMO.

Pixel C is the most interesting especially the Tegra X1 that should be on par in performance with A9X in iPad Prosumer. Would've preferred a bigger size though so they didn't need to compromise on the keyboard and hope the SoC doesn't have any overheating issues that's known with Nvidia on TSMC.

Chromecast is 2nd most interesting but don't really need it since I haven't gone 4K yet and don't live in a dense 2.4GHz WIFI area so the original Chromecast works fine.

Already own the Note 5 so hardware wise Nexus 6P isn't that interesting except for Android M.

Yeah that seemed to be the standout device tbh. iOS compatibility too means for multi device households its great little inexpensive device.

I already have Apple TVs and Amazon Fire TV sticks around the house and the Chromecast doesn't offer any additional needed functionality at home. For me, it's almost exclusively used for traveling or when in need of a portable way to quickly get media onto TV (i.e. used it to get a video of my daughter's soccer game from YouTube onto a TV in their meeting room for review with their coach).

Why oh why did they make that hump so wide in the 6P... It could've been a pretty nice looking phone. The hump really messes it up.

Really impressed with the 6p. Definently a couple of steps up from my HTC One M8. I won't be until December I can get one. Nexus 5x not so much.

I just ordered the 64GB 6P.

It would be nice if the wait was less, but my Moto X Pure was just delivered this morning so I will have that to setup and use. These two (moto x and nexus 6p) are the reason I decided to pass on a 6S Plus.

Besides my iPhone 6 Plus is doing well, has all the iPhone features I need, so therefore today was the day I was waiting for. :D
