I just orferrd the Nexus 5x 32gb. I Dunno. May cancel it. $429.99 plus taxes.

I think Moto x 32gb at $449 may be a better value. Especially with microSD card.

Just picked up iPhone 6S plus full price.

So spending $1400 on new phones may not be the best idea. Ha. (I did resell my 6 plus 64gb for $600 last month)

A midrange phone that probably runs as good as high end for most people. Not talking e-penis benchmark scores, but normal everyday use

I am shocked that T-Mobile at least won't be carrying the Nexus 6P. T-Mobile has been a staunch Nexus supporter since day one, where other carriers may have sold one or two different Nexus phones over the years, T-Mobile ALWAYS sold the Nexus phone, every one, every year, starting with the Nexus-One up to the Nexus 6. Tis a sad day that T-Mobile won't have the latest Nexus phone, for the first time in six years :(

I am also on ' Jump on Demand ' mainly for the annual Nexus release, and sometimes the Note release or possibly HTC flagship release.

Personally, I decided to go 16gb because that's what I could afford. $450 is better to go with either a new GS6 off eBay or go with the Nexus 6P.

So here are my thoughts on the 5X:

1. Not too happy with the price options being 16 GB for $379 and 32 GB for $429, but Apple does this with 16GB with their 6S/6S Plus, so it's common practice for companies to low ball memory still.

2. RAM, 2GB of RAM is somewhat disappointing. Luckily, it's a Nexus device that has the lightest Android version possible. 3GB would be good, but they need to separate between the 6P and the 5X, which I get. I just hope it's like the 6S/6S Plus with stability and zippy usage.

3. The camera hump is not appreciated as much. I got the Black Carbon Color to avoid the hump from being a distraction.

4. Honestly, with $379, there will be some tradeoffs, but to me, having type C USB, fingerprint scanner, latest updates, and all the best android features is worth considering as huge positives.

5. Carrier flexibility is what I consider to be golden. Not only can I take my iPhone, but I can take my Nexus 5X to other carriers once I get it. Wi-Fi calling and visual voicemail are two important features I have on my iPhone.

6. 1080p display w/ a 2700 mAh battery will work better w/ a 808 than the v2.1 810. I expect good battery life from this one. Although, the M9 would beg to differ.

7. Camera performance should get better w/ a laser autofocus. OIS isn't a huge issue to me since I don't think my Nexus will be my primary photo op device. I would use my 6S+.

I hope my comments can give you some better feelings towards the 5X because it's a hit or miss type of device, but folks will still buy it because Google makes good devices in general.

Yeah no wireless sucks for a lot of people but personally speaking fast charging is the big deal for me.

Doesn't OIS help with still photos too? It helps focus better? No?

Is OIS only good for video?

Ordered a 6P. Only reason I got rid of Nexus 6 was because it was just too large whereas this seems a more reasonable size.

My first impression of the phone when shown off is that the fingerprint scanner is in an inconvenient place. I really feel having it at the front where the home button lives is better.

Even when he held the phone on stage he had to adjust his grip to an unnatural pose to be able to reach the sensor. But apart from that the phone looks quite nice, I like the metal design. I'm talking about the Nexus 6P.
