I was wondering the same thing. That's certainly good news to start...want to see more reviews though. And how does dxomark have a review of the 6P's camera before it puts out its evaluation of the new iPhones?

So just watched my first hands-on video for the 6P....seems quite snappy performance-wise that camera hump is even worse than it looks in pictures. Whomever posted the picture much earlier in the thread of the old school barcode scanner was sadly spot on--first thing it reminds me of every time I see it.
Huawei puts outs much the much nicer designed Mate S and Google says, 'No, lets fugly it up a bit, give it some bigger bezels and a hunchback.' Why do that? Oh, that's right, because the Mate S looks like the illegitimate offspring of an iPhone 6 and HTC One (pick your version).
Time for Google to bring their hardware design in house--if they can design something a nice looking as the Pixel devices, they can certainly outdo the latest Nexus phone designs.
Yeah, i'm waiting for a better explanation for that hump. I think it has to do with the dual speakers, the camera sensors, NFC being there, and the radio antennaes (the rest of the device is metal, but doesn't it have antennae lines too around? I dont' know).
The overall device is growing on me, but the hump is the hardest thing to get over. PUN INTENDED.
The Nexus 6P's big glass window serves as a home for the rear camera, dual LED flash, laser autofocus module, NFC coil (yes, really), as well as an outlet for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and some mobile data connectivity. There is an additional plastic window along the bottom of the phone for the main cellular antenna, as well.
When I first used the Nexus 6P I was very upset to see that it was clearly oversaturated like the Nexus 6, but there's more to the story this time around. In the Nexus 6P's developer settings there is a switch to enable an sRGB mode, and when this switch is turned on the Nexus 6P's display appears to have similar color rendition to the Nexus 5X which is a very good sign. While we'll need to get a review unit in order to analyze all of the display's attributes, I am hopeful that Google has recognized and fixed the issues with the Nexus 6's display in the Nexus 6P.
All of them released so far are V2. M9, One Plus 2, Z3+ etc ...No one else worried about the 810 overheating? Even if it is v2.

Seems it also depends on the device and software. The OnePlus 2 underclocks/bottlenecks itself when it gets too hot. The Z3+ seems to suffer the worst with overheating reports, whereas other than initial worry the M9 seems to have got away with very few issues regarding overheating. And they all have overheating issues, yeah?
If so, that's an auto pass for me on the 6P. I don't want anything to do with 810 overheating issues...
There's quite a lot of bezel on these new Nexus devices. They're really tall...
THe Note 5 almost looks "small" compared to the 6+ and 6P.
especially considering it has the same size screen as the 6P and bigger than the 6s Plus. There's quite a lot of bezel on these new Nexus devices. They're really tall...

Wow, Samsung, they gave Google their latest Amoled Panel. That is VERY surprising. I guess the new SUPER DUPPER (lol) panel they are working on for next year is even better than the current one.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/09/30/confirmed-nexus-6p-has-latest-gen-samsung-amoled-panel/I'm curious in that. Like latest as in the exact same 5.7" display the Note 5 has ?
I'd be shocked if Samsung was selling that to other manufacturers so soon. The Note 5 display, is Samsung's #1 screen tech, and they already sold it to a competitor ?
