With this video, there are already a hundred of professional Android fanboys... sorry, Android YouTubers making videos trying to show that the phone does not bend... where they make faces, noises, twist their arms, you name it, to show how much they were trying to bend their $700 phone... or not...
OK how about someone doing it with weights? Hardly scientific, but you can't claim the 90 lbs is fake pressure. Brings this pretty close to what we were seeing with the 6S. Nowhere close to that original video, which I am convinced now the phone was tampered with. The person posting the original video runs a phone repair business.
Why is this still being discussed? Anyone putting 90lbs of pressure on a phone with regular use, they have some issues. If you take care of your phone, and aren't careless the phone will be fine. Let's move on. This is very tired. I have been hearing about phones bending for the last year. Let's come up with something else please.http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2014/09/consumer-reports-tests-iphone-6-bendgate/index.htm
90lbs is nothing? Specially on that "test" where the weight is spread through the screen!
90lbs was what the 6+ took without bending.
If the 6+ had the bendgate, so does this!
Can't wait to receive my 6p but I'm worried about the size. About USB c. And about the camera experience compared to the s6.
I honestly may not keep it despite the following reviews.
Might speak differently when it's in hand though.
Made a big score tonight. Scored a Google special edition Nexus 6P black 64GB. Bought it for $600 on Craigslist. The box it came in is all metal and weighs about 12 pounds. It's heavy! The guy said his brother works for Google and he gets free stuff all the time.
Yeah - you can only know by trying. Google have a very generous 15 day return window thankfully anyway. I get my Aluminium version on Tuesday (my friend is on the other side of the country so will send it to me via courier on Monday) and then I'll decide which I prefer colour wise.
I have only had mine for12 hours so can't speak about battery yet. But while restoring all my apps and playing with it till 2am last night it never got hot once.so some people are saying battery life is great. But those with an iPhone 6s/6 Plus does it match the mammoth battery life of those phones?
Also, does the phone get hot easily, especially when browsing the net or playing games, or making calls of longer than 5 mins?

FCC no longer requires that info to be stamped on devices here. How come yours doesn't have FCC info on the bottom panel at the back ? Looks better without it - but is that because it was a promo device ?
Your are spot on about the camera. I think it is capable of taking great shots. But the camera app is holding it back. The camera app on the S6 is going to better a big step up from Google's.I'm actually having a lot of second thoughts.
It sounds like the s6 screen and camera experience (quality, the app itself, and the camera features) all sound better on the s6. I love the s6 screen (including brightness adjuster - it can drop really low when using it in the dark and it can get really bright when using it in sunlight).
Does the 6p compare? It seems like it is just under the s6 in these two departments.
But also... I hate losing wireless charging. I love the convenience and the fact that I can top off my battery while the device is on my table (at home and at work). As mentioned before, I love that USB c is future proof but I'm not ready to go there yet personally. I don't wanna spend money on new cables for the office, the car, etc.
Also, form factor. The 6p is gonna be huge to me coming from a s6. I've seen comparison videos. I don't know if I can handle it. It'll essentially eliminate one handed use which really sucks. I use my s6 one handed on the train often (need the other hand to hold onto the hand bars, or a work bag, etc).
Lastly, I'm just not that impressed with stock android. I'll miss the immediate access to quick toggles from touch wiz and the ability to customize it. There are a few other things that to think touch wiz does better too. Obviously there are advantages to stock, but I don't know if I really need or care for them.
Plus, because I got the 128gb, I am dropping $700+ for this device. That's a heavy price even if it is a great value. Not happy about spending that sorta money...
I'm considering canceling... But because Google's return policy is so friendly, I'm hanging on to the order. But having serious second thoughts.
I might have just gotten impulsive and caught up with the hype.
Thoughts from fellow phone lovers? Especially those with the s6?
