When I saw it I was wondering too. However I checked mine and it looks similar. I have been playing music from google play music from the speakers for roughly 5 hours....it isn't even on the battery graph . Been browsing for about 2 hours too and chorme barely shows up.

Google should implement better stats than what is currently shown. Apps like BetterBatteryStats show more details, but I would prefer a native built in stat indicator similar to BetterBatteryStats.

I log out of iMessage when I switch to the N5. But I use it when using my IP6s+. I have done this for 2 years now so I have the process down! :)
Same .... Never had an issue with messages either.

Just got the January security update on the 6P. Doesn't appear to be anything else new in the update.

Are you mostly using your 6P as your main phone?

I change frequently between it and my 6S+ . Few days with one then swap to the other and vice versa.

I've used both about as much as each other. I find things i prefer on one over the other and then vice versa but generally my usage is much the same overall and i find the experience much the same.

That's what's happening to me now. I keep going back and forth between my 6S and 5X. I can't decide which one to hang on to. There are things I like and don't like about each ecosystem lol

Lol, yeah i know i could make do with one, but i also know if i did, i would still be craving the other. So yes its needless to have both, but I'm happy to rock that way and get benefits of both. :)

Are either of you using any other Apple products? iPad? Mac? If so, don't you have to log out on all devices? I'd find that pretty annoying after a while.

Interesting. One thing that stopped me from switching between my HTC One and iPhone are the reports people had with iMessages. What steps do you specifically go through when you switch from an iPhone?

I have an iPad Air 2, rMPB, iMac, iPad Mini 4. I have never had a problem with iMessages after I logout/turn it off.
I switch between the N5 and IP6s+ all the time and it's never an issue for me. I don't have to do anything to any other Apple products.

I've been offered a 6p at a good price. It is someone's upgrade. In the event of a warranty issue, am I covered or not and who would I report it to. I'm in the uk btw

Received mine today from Google along with a Project Fi SIM. Very impressed with the phone coming from a iPhone 6S+ and very close to porting my number off AT&T. It would literally cut our cellphone bill in half based on our current usage.

Did you get a 6P?

I still like using my 6P, but some annoyances make me wish I still had also a good iOS device with me, especially now that they're finally offering night mode and Siri in Finnish in iOS 9.3. Well, my work phone is due for an upgrade so let's see if that helps.

Picked up a 6p on Friday as it was a good deal. The owner had moved to a 5x.
My first day I got 4hr 55min screen on time which I thought was quite decent. Just got to find a proper car charger for it now

Update:
Well my phone has not been dosing for a few weeks now. I was seeing about 4.5-5hrs SOT which I was content with. However I decided to delete some apps I was not using to see if I can resolve my non dozing 6p.
After deleting about 6 apps, my phone still does not doze, but my SOT have increased to a consistent 6 hrs. I have also increased the brightness I usually use from 20% to about 35%...strange.

I haven't experienced any bending and I am not too kind on my phone (keep in my back pocket and sit on it sometimes, however I am 145 pounds. I have dropped it a few times too). I am using a spigen ultra hybrid case.

I have experienced the occasional slowing down which is resolved by a restart. I experience this about every 2 weeks so not a big deal to me.

My battery and SOT has been a little hit and miss of late. I'm only averaging 3 hours SOT since December update and January update hasn't fixed it.

Haven't loaded any new apps onto it. Might have to do a reset

Oh wow that sucks. No way would I be pleased with 3 hrs SOT. I haven't received the January update as yet...which is strange since I was one of the first to receive the December update lol.

I have also been keeping my location on (mix of high accuracy and battery savings) in the period I have saw the battery life increased to 6 hrs SOT. This makes it even more strange...but I won't complain.

Note: I usually don't play games on my phone although I do have some installed just in case.

Yeah I don't play games on mobile either, though have Rayman Adventures installed on both of mine just in case I ever do get the inclination :)

It's always been a gripe of mine generally with android that battery life consistency tends to be more a case of random luck than anything else.

Doze seems to work sometimes (it'll drop 5% during the night) and then sometimes it won't have kicked in and i'll be down 30 over night.

I'll do a reset if it doesn't improve - its just a bit of a pain in the bum. Otherwise my device is running grand which adds more to the irritation of having to do a factory reset (plus it means having to download my offline tracks in Google music all over again too).

I can just imagine how annoying that would be. Although Doze does not kick in for me, I usually lose about 7-8% of battery life. With doze it was about 2% so not a big difference for me.

Question regarding google play music. If you do the factory reset, does it keep a track of which songs you downloaded and have an option to automatically download all? Or do you have to go through and download each individually?
