Mine has been stuck in PostNord processing hell since June 2....and still no movement or update. What kind of delivery service is this...

Mine too and every email or message now goes unanswered. They created this mess and clearly are not professional enough nor have the staff required to clean it up so it appears they have simply given up!

I will be filing a claim on my credit card and contacting the BBB because I am so disgusted with this company.

Thanks for the pics. I can't deny that it does look good. Glad your issues got resolved, now I hope they make it right for the rest of us!

wow they skimped on the packaging for backers. packing for the retail is much nicer.

I haven't seen the retail packaging so I can't comment. I wouldn't be surprised though, this company seems to go to any length to save a dime, hence our snail delivery service!

Suppose you'd like to pay $20 more for the packaging?

Thanks GatorKnight for the photos. It is a work of art and despite the delay and poor tracking from DirectLink, from the looks of it I'll be happy with the stand. I ordered the silver as well. I've seen tweet photos of the gray and equally as nice. Noah has said they would stand behind us, thanked us for our patience, and would make sure everyone was taken care of. For this 8-employee company, I have no doubt with the pressures of getting out another product, the charging pod, on top of this stand that Noah is more upset than us by the delays and bad will created by the poor tracking of our packages. Can only imagine how much time has been lost with emails, tweets, etc. I hope the people that have waited it out will all be happy with their stands and post photos of it with their watch on it or at least let everyone know it arrived.

Yeah, after reading the last few posts, I have had enough.

No movement from PostNord, as expected.

I sent an email requesting an immediate refund. If I don't get my card credited immediately I am going to also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will PM some of you for further information on who you contacted.

Hi All,

We just received the following update from Direct Link.
I hope this helps provide a bit more information on what's happening with your Stands.

Noah

---

From: Direct Link Regional Account Manager:

Sophia,

We have continued to investigate the US orders, and there was a customs related issue due to the multiple order numbers associated with 1 tracking ID. Being that the manifest showed several pieces per order, Sweden Customs (where it routed) was concerned that there were more pieces being imported to Sweden without duty. So when the original shipment in question came through, it was held and inspected. It appears the orders to the EU, were not held in the same fashion, thus why we have seen normal movement and delivery on those orders. We have received some information that leads us to believe that the inspection is complete and were are expecting movement to begin again soon, however, we cannot be sure exactly when that will be. We are continually monitoring this situation and will report back as soon as we have more concrete information.

I will follow up internally on the other destinations, although I expect the Canadian orders are the same as the US. The Australian customs will not report back the tracking information. Due to a bottle neck in Australian customs, delivery times can be a bit longer to Australia 10-12 business days. This was discussed with Brian [Nomad] originally. We do have a parcel upgrade option for future orders, but it is a higher price point. We can re explore this option moving forward if you would like.

Again, I will be back in touch on the other destinations in question, and report back any pertinent info that comes in regarding the US orders.

Thanks,

Brian XXXXX

Noah,

I am still awaiting a reply on the refund I requested.

It is sitting in your email box along with an email I sent days ago you never bothered to respond to.

Please let me know the status of my refund. If I need to go through the hassle of using my credit card company then I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. I anticipate this process of receiving a refund won't be a difficult one.

Hi All,

We just received the following update from Direct Link.
I hope this helps provide a bit more information on what's happening with your Stands.

Hi Noah,

Thank you for the update. I understand that you can't give a firm date, but do you have any idea on the range here? I was told by Chloe that my stand should be here this week, but I haven't seen any movement yet. Are we talking days, weeks, etc?

Thank you

....And this is what happens when the corner-cutting company pairs with a corner-cutting shipping service. My BBB complaint will be filed once I get off work today.

If anyone wants to contact Brian at Direct Link directly (to get their side of this mess or provide feedback) you can PM lupend88 or I for the info (I just PM'd you the info lupend88).
May want to tack that onto your BBB complaint as they should be involved.

OK Noah, USPS now has a bunch of our stands in the USPS tracking system now!! Sure you will be relieved to know this if you don't already know.

The packages are going out Registered Mail guys. Mine and two other MacRumors members are among the list below (pulled the numbers if mentioned from the thread here). The rest were Order numbers I pulled from the Nomad tweets of people who had also been waiting (maybe some of those are from members here if you tweeted them and posted your order number).

For those who didn't cancel your order, go to the USPS.com webpage and enter your tracking number that appears on your DirectLink tracking page (starts with RE.....). If there were 2 tracking numbers for your Order, go with the one that shows the most recent dated info.

Here are the numbers I checked and they ALL have entered the USPS mail system. We should be able to track to our delivery address now. I suspect you will need to be at the address or have someone else sign for it BTW since it's Registered shipping.

So at this point it's hard to look at the demands for refunds as anything but attempts to get free stands.
I bet Nomad will still provide a few of them though.

I disagree, just because there is a pre-shipment notice means nothing. That's no more than the same thing as someone creating a USPS label but never hands off the shipment. I'll believe it when I see acceptance of the stands with USPS. Meanwhile I have emailed Chloe twice in the last 3 and a half days with no response. I've lost hope, and just filed a complaint with the BBB as soon as I read the customs mess. I want a refund and I DON'T want the stand for free. Let it sit in the Chicago warehouse or go to someone else. I already bought another stand...no use for this late to show up redesign.

Noah,

I understand that some things are out of the company's control. But please don't use direct link next time. I'll probably give your company another chance next year if you switch to a more reputable shipping method.
