Nothing on the system on my end. I emailed Chloe two days ago and was told my package was moving as expected. Which makes no sense since I ordered early. But to all the Apple Watch apologists that said Apple never promised us April 24...Nomad managed to one up them on the "where the hell is my item" competition. To tell me my item is moving as expected and to see Noah's post about Direct Link telling him they there are delays and have no real explanation shows they are shoveling ****.

Just submitted my complaint with the BBB. I suggest you all do the same regardless of the status of your oder. Most of us gave these crooks our money in MARCH without anything to show.

Go here, http://www.bbb.org , insert your postal code, and search for "Nomad Goods, Inc." Their location is Santa Barbara just to make sure you're submitting your complaint to the right company.

OK Noah, USPS now has a bunch of our stands in the USPS tracking system now!! Sure you will be relieved to know this if you don't already know.

The packages are going out Registered Mail guys.

I was HYPED to see this, then I realized that USA11814 isn't on that list.... still "in transit" on the pigeon.

Thank you for this information.

NOMAD has refused to reply to my request for a refund.

I will be contacting my credit card company today to have them take care of the situation.

And, for the lack of proper customer service, I will be opening a ticket to the BBB and filing a complaint later today.

If the stand arrives, and I am home, I will refuse it. Otherwise I have told NOMAD they can send me a prepaid shipping label to send it back to them.

Finally, I will make it a mission to give this company bad Internet reviews whenever I can because of the manner they executed this entire ordering process and then refused to issue a refund at the end of the day.

BTW, received my Spigen Apple Watch stand. It's inexpensive and quite nice. Not as heavy as the NOMAD, but it does the trick and looks great at my bedside.

Not sure if people skipped over or aren't understanding what they need to do to search for their Tracking on the USPS site now, but HypeMan your package is now listed with USPS.
https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?tLabels=RE204865158SE

For everyone else waiting, first you need to get your DirectLink Tracking # so:
1) Enter your Order# into the DirectLink tracking page (starts USAxxxxx):
http://www.directlinktrackedplus.com/multipletrack-client2.php?lang=en&postal_ref_mode=0
2) Hit the Search button after the "Enter Order#". Your Tracking Number from DirectLink remains the same for use with the US Post Office. If you see 2 tracking numbers listed for your 1 Order No., use the tracking number with the date that is most current (dates are shown DAY/MONTH/YEAR).
3) Copy that Reference No. (ie. RExxxxxxxxxSE) and
4) paste it into the USPS tracking field and Search:
https://www.usps.com
5) again, note that the packages are coming Registered Mail so someone at the address will need to sign for it.

The info above is for U.S. deliveries. If you are Canadian, I'd try going to your country's postal site and use your DirectLink tracking number into any search provided for you at your postal site.

I love how Noah failed to answer any questions directly usual! You will not be getting a thank you from me as you continue to ignore me.

Mac2me, that's a great write up but I ordered in March and I still have absolutely nothing appearing with USPS.

What's your Order # if you don't mind? I know a Twitter user (USA10064) who said he ordered in MidMarch was among those order numbers I checked earlier and he was in the USPS system. Same goes for USA10303 who indicated in his tweet he was a pre-order and he had a very early number.

So Cal
Although this is somewhat good news that this order number, tracking number, whatever number it is, shows up in a US shipping system, it still gives us no daylight at the end of any tunnel as to an ETA of when these will be at our doors...

I give you the most amount of credit for finding that, and I set my alerts on this, but it seems like there was only a label generated. Or even something like USPS has taken note of something being dropped off to them, to ship to us.

However, fingers crossed. I'll remain positive. Maybe I'll see this stand one day.

Put some double-sided carpet tape on the bottom to have it hold steady on your bedside table. Avoid the stuff with high weight tolerances - they'll harm the finish of your table. Just regular carpet tape. :)

The Spigen stand holds steady fine on its own. No need to put tape on it.

As for NOMAD, day two and they still have yet to confirm my refund request. So, in essence, they are refusing to issue refunds.

Just want you folks to be aware of what is going on. I have already opened a ticket with Chase to pursue this matter and I am off to contact the BBB.

Well actually I saw PhillyGuys post under the Great 3rd party band thread ( https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...nd-strap-thread.1866289/page-47#post-21475783) . They are in a similar situation having ordered bands off of Amazon from China and been waiting in tracking limbo since June 2. Sound familiar? Since Noah was informed by DirectLink that the US/Canadian packages had cleared Customs finally and should be moving again, I thought to use our DirectLink tracking numbers on the USPS site like PhillyGuy did with their Amazon tracking, and sure enough info showed up.

In a distant galaxy long ago I was a secretary, administrative assistant and one of my jobs was to help ship out packages. Based on the Order#s for the Nomad orders, I figure there were probably thousand of packages going all over the world (at least to countries where Apple Watches were initially sold), and that most probably were US purchases. I can see packages coming out of crates from Customs and needing to now enter the USPS mail system. Documentation needs to be prepared for those including labels and Register Mail forms that the post office will need. No idea if they were given text files with the info or got scanned or someone had to manually enter all the info from the packages and double check the info. Then all get transported to USPS for further processing. I think USPS will be posting info soon of where it enters the system and then after a day or two they usually update with an expected delivery date. From there the tracking can be specific or spoty until it reaches your local post office and you see On Truck Out for Delivery.

Just submitted my complaint to the BBB.

Let them know that Nomad has cut off all communication with me since requesting a refund.

Will let you know how this progresses, but I encourage others on this board to use the link above.

I am also going to start posting in their "Pod" preorder threads and let them know what is going on. Hopefully encourage some of them to pull their orders before being submitted to this kind of hostile customer service.

Noah,

I understand that some things are out of the company's control. But please don't use direct link next time. I'll probably give your company another chance next year if you switch to a more reputable shipping method.

Chances are Chloe put through the refund after getting your request to cancel, and as others here have already said it takes several days for their credit card to receive it. Not sure why Nomad would see the need to continue to send you communications.

Will let you know how this progresses, but I encourage others on this board to use the link above.
First off I don't think BBB has any power unless it's among it's members who paid them money to belong, and then they would kick them out and not permit them to display their BBB logo if they get too many complaints of a serious nature like fraud or failing to address complaints. Neither fraud nor ignoring complaints is applicable here. People have gotten refunds when canceled before shipping. If your package is enroute, I wouldn't expect to receive a credit until the unit is returned to them by the delivery service or they get some assurance from the delivery company that the item has been pulled and will be sent back to them, which is how I've seen most businesses handle it. Nomad has provided updates on changes to design, manufacturing delays, shipping problems all along the way. From what I've gathered reading here Nomad isn't even a BBB member.

I am also going to start posting in their "Pod" preorder threads and let them know what is going on. Hopefully encourage some of them to pull their orders before being submitted to this kind of hostile customer service.
Sounds like you are actively trying to interfere with their business. Unless you've received hostile email from them, can't see Nomad's customer service being called hostile. You may not like what you hear about the delivery issues but updates have been provided. I think they've been acting responsibly from their end and that I and others will get our products.

Mac2me, I know you are trying to provide some clarity, but this company does not deserve defense from you or anyone. I ordered a product in MARCH and was told it would ship in April, then I was told it would ship before the end of May which it did not, and now I am left with a tracking number that hasn't shown movement in weeks. It will be JULY soon, I have no product and they have my money.

All of that is bad enough but what really does it for me is their lack of communication. When I send an email I may or may not get a response from them in my experience. I emailed them multiple times about concerns that I will be changing addresses and they only responded once I threatened to call my credit card company. I agree with another post that they can come across as hostile and unprofessional in the communication I have been lucky enough to receive.

Don't forget the slap in the face the Best Buy stock is.

Stop defending a company that has little in the way of standards and has done nothing worthy of praise.

Thank you, Apollonian!

A simple response of "We are processing your refund" would have put all this activity to stop immediately.

However, they went from almost immediate email responses to cutting off responses completely once I asked for a refund.

That's hostile customer service as far as I am concerned.
