Nomad stands-delayed...

Nervous, no. Delays, probably. If they have another delay on Thursday, I'll be cancelling. There are so many options out there and new ones popping up daily.
I would be pleasantly surprised if they actually shipped on Thursday but I'm not holding my breath. With their track record I'm prepared for an update email about further delays but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong!

I agree, one more delay and I'll cancel as well. I can stomach the initial delay but the design change turned me off to the whole thing. Another delay and I'll lose all interest.

I also have yet to even see a production model in space gray so I'm thinking delay.
on their facebook page, someone asked on May 6th, "any pics of space grey?" and Nomad replied stating "pics coming next week".
that was 2 weeks ago and no space grey pics have been revealed. I'll be drafting my cancellation email later today...
What design change? The last email I saw (May 6th) showed the original design shown on their website.
TechCrunch just posted a review of the stand. They're saying May 29th as shipping date, hopefully no delays.
thats for orders placed today. If you purchased the stand a month ago or longer, the date is supposed to be May 21st.

Just received the email saying they were shipping starting tomorrow. It DOES show a pic of Space Grey.

How did you determine your number? I'd like to get an idea where my order is in line with others.
I wasn't given an exact number, but I remember when it first launched it said X/5000 units remaining (for the first wave) or something like that. And when I went to purchase it was around 4700/5000 units remaining.
Nothing here. I am not surprised. I am very underwhelmed by them and their professionalism. They say they are shipping but what are the odds that they are shipping and no one here has received notification.
That company has a long-standing history of delays and never living up to what they say. You won't ever find me doing business with them!
I was an early pre-order too and received no notification at all. what a shame. I'll cancel my order by this weekend as well if I dont hear anything by tomorrow.

I completely agree, and there are many companies that have been able to hide it no problem that is what is really frustrating to me. It is clearly possible.
I however decided I'd wait to see it in person and return it if I'm still unhappy. That being said I still have received no notification of shipment despite my early order. I really doubt anything is even shipping. They just seem like a company who cares little about promises and meeting deadlines, they just BS their way through it.
I ordered the space gray and have yet to see a production image of that model which is also concerning.
