Oct 18 - Oct 31 original ship date

Apple prioritized all iUP orders AFTER pre-orders so some of the even late October people have received theirs.

If this is true I must have fell thru the cracks! I ordered IUP, even pre-ordered 9/9 with an email confirmation 14 mins after the pre-order started yet I am still processing & have a delivery date of October 18-31!

Man that sucks... I'm seeing lots of movement in the Oct 4-10 thread with their delivery dates ranging from the 27th-30th. So hopefully we'll see ours moving soon, at least in the next weekish.

I just spoke to a UPS rep who said my order, which is still stuck at "Location Scan" in UPS tracking will not be here by their estimated delivery date, which was today. They said due to "Apple's special operating plans", they can't tell when things will be delivered. Makes perfect sense. Apple says they don't know when it will be delivered because of UPS; UPS says they can't tell because of Apple....

The order management page will say that right up until it ships but the change on the phone message will be the indication that things are moving along. I've done this dance with AT&T a few times.

So I should go by the text status then? It says Back Ordered, so I like that status more anyways

Yeah I would go with that. I used to call in to some number to check it since at that time they didn't offer a way to check it with a text message but it was always more accurate than the website.

Same for me, still no movement this morning.

I am also stuck there with no movement. If they pass up the 30th which is the day Apple says it will deliver then I will be asking for a discount on the case I bought. When I got my iPhone 4 Apple gave me 20% back on the case because the case was a day late.

Just got off the phone with UPS (Had nothing better to do, was not expecting an answer) and all I was told was to keep tracking the package, that once the phone hit the US, they will provide a new delivery date...

This is why I wanted to have the phone go directly to the store, and pick it up there, but the option did not show up for me when I was buying it.

Said its supposed to deliver Oct 4, so we'll see...

Well mine is somewhere in there. I got Oct 24-31st. At least you lucky people have a chance of getting them earlier if you've got the 18th as your start date. I have to suffer for at least an extra week

I've got the same phone, same shipment times. Hoping it moves out of China quickly.

UPS gave me a delivery date of today initially. It is looking more like Monday for delivery so I maybe getting some money back from Apple if that is the case.

The thing is I can't complain (and I love to complain to companies) to Apple about late delivery because their original estimate when I ordered was Oct. 18th-31st and they will still meet those dates. Just because it shipped early, that was the dates promised. I think Apple should though get on UPS more because it seems right now their operations in China are disorganized this time around.

I was looking at the Oct 4 thread, and it seems those who have posted screen shots of their tracking have taken a week for them to get their phones, from the day they get the first update, if that were to be the case, I guess my original estimate from apple would be correct, and I might get the phone on friday (but, with my luck, wont).

We have the same exact specs except I'm still processing! Hope you are right, maybe this is a sign????
