Did you also just sign up for the Apple Upgrade Program that night?
I thought doing that would have made mine ship later, but I guess not?

Oh also, one thing I forgot to mention (not sure if it matters) is that I'm on Verizon.

But after browsing the other threads, it does seem like people are def receiving their phones earlier.
So there IS hope...

I'm already on the upgrade program. I'm giving my husband my 6S plus & I ordered the new 7 plus for me. I'm with AT&T, have been since 2008 only because they were the only carrier with the iPhone! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area really close to Apple headquarters. Everyone says since we live so close we should get the first shipments, that's not going to happen!!!

I just got off live chat with UPS and this is what I was told about my package which is stuck in ZhengZhou, China since the 24th.

Jenny C.: Thanks for your patience. I reviewed the information and this is a part of a big shipment that the shipper shipped with UPS and it must clear customs all together, at this time we are holding the packages at our UPS warehouse until they get released from customs. I would recommend that you please keep monitoring your package for further updates.

I then asked how long the shipment takes and they replied with

Jenny C.: We commit the deliveries pending normal customs clearance, however, as the package is under a special clearance process we only can recommend you to keep tracking the package to see updates on its transit.

I'm sure it will get to your location today, now, going out for delivery, or been able to pick it up, is a different history... I requested mine to be held for pick up at the distribution center, so maybe, just maybe I'll be able to go and pick it up later on today.

Amazing...in 4 hours it went from Louisville through four stops and hit my location in Syracuse. Hoping for a pickup tonight!

I guess you are also in NY, mine is almost at the distribution center where I asked for ot to be held for me to pick up, I'll be going to pick it up as soon as I get the notification that it is ready.

Mine moved also. It is currently out for delivery. It was kind of pointless to contact UPS yesterday.

I'm thinking I'm just one of the unlucky few that won't have theirs shipped out until the original estimated ship date, so I should stop obsessively checking order status and bank account and just be pleasantly surprised if I happen to get notification that it's shipping early

Ordered 18 minutes post launch through apple, signed up for the UP. Was set for the 18th-31st on a Jet black 128 Gig plus.

Absolutely no movement or updates. Still looking at the 18th-31st

My Jet Black 256gb 7+ is on the truck out for delivery today, this time yesterday it was stuck in China, what a difference a day makes, keep the faith !

originally 10/18-10/31. ordered both the 128 and 256 JB Plus. 256 is out for delivery today! Yesss!! 128 still processing but it's whatevers, we all have our iphones already. Time to either return or sell the 256 matte black plus.

Not sure why UPS isn't providing a delivery date on this batch of orders...I asked, they told me I would get a delivery date once it hits the US, but it looks like most of you didn't get a date at all.

Just picked my iPhone up from my local UPS location! I hope everyone gets their phone early as well
