Just checked my order status:

7+ 256GB Gold - placed with AT&T Next on 9/19/16

Website shows Order Status: Preparing to Ship (like it always has since I placed the order).
*6737# shows The items in your orer are currently on back order.

From comments in this thread, it looked like seeing back order status was good news?

Ordered a No Contract 128gb Matte Black for AT&T from Apple Store last Friday (9/23)

Says processing Oct 21-28th. I see a lot of people who ordered No Contract have to wait until the end of October. Boo.

I ordered on 9/18 through next (most carriers are non-contract) and website says PTS but *6737# says In Progress...WHats the F'n difference.

In the past Apple has hesitated to offer unlocked no contract full price phones at launch

What I meant was...what's the difference in preparing to ship and in progress. The are listed on AT&T's website as two separate statuses.

Shipped via UPS. Has tracking but no information.

I ordered via At&T business.

I am trying so hard to think positive & hope for the best but with each passing day being stuck in "processing" is really starting to piss me off!!

I received shipping notification today - 2 Matte Blacks (128G & 256G) ordered on 9/19.

shipped by Fedex - arriving Friday. Going to order Spigen cases now ...

That is strange, I ordered one minute after you and mine was delivered yesterday.

I ordered in a Verizon Store the following on 9/26 :

RG 7 32GB Ship date 10/19
(2) MB 7 32GB Ship date 10/19

Much to my surprise, the Rose Gold 7 shipped from Memphis this morning. Showing 2 day delivery via FedEx, to be delivered Mon. Oct.3.

The tracking originates in Memphis, with no Chinese, Korean, or Alaskan scans. Maybe they have stock of RG 7 32 GB sitting in Memphis?

Anyway, my wife will be happy.
