Hello,

I've been around these forums for the past two years, and finally decided to join the forum last night. I've posted several things in the past 24 hours, including a few opinions on the upcoming products for the event tomorrow.

I'm really enjoying this forum so far, and I'm so glad I joined.

I've been using Mac all my life and will continue to do so. I have several machines. My main Mac is an M1 MacBook Air. I also have a 2010 Mac mini and a 5,1 2010 Mac Pro.

In its case.
Hello! I'm Mark, and have been an iPhone user for 5 years, and an Apple Watch series 5 user since March 2020. My first iPhone was an SE1 (purchased March 2017); it was replaced by an 8 Plus in the summer of 2018, and then after 3 years 9 months of use it was "retired" in favor of my current 13, which I've had for a little over a week now. This forum looks nice and I expect to learn a lot!

This will be a bit of a test... Another of these threads started with good intentions... but was soon taken over by regulars.

if you just joined MacRumors, reply and introduce yourself.

This is only for new Macrumors users... only users who registered within two months of the current date may reply...

All other users posts will be deleted. (moderators, please enforce this). This will be for myself included... only comments by truely "new" users will be allowed in this thread.

Discuss away...

(this could fail miserably if no one replies :) )

Hello! Newbie here. Literally created my account and joined just a few minutes ago.

I'm mostly a lurker for Apple updates especially on new releases, release dates. I also lurk around for first hand reviews of newly released Apple products. I finally decided to join and create an account because I've been meaning to get inputs on which of the new Apple products (specifically the iPad Air 5 and the upcoming Macbook(s)) should I buy. Probably more of this when I post the question in the forums and fish for advise.

😅😅😅

New here. Switched to iMac in 2017 and now my wife has the M1 MBA.

Trying to decide between MBP 14 or 16 now so I registered here.

Depends if yax the out want crunch video the go for 16 and make sure you max the intergraded RAM! If you just surfing the sites and streaming video then go for the 14! That will be the good surfing version but don't think you'll crunch videos too much!

Hello everyone,

I just joined the forum after so many years lurking around. I really like this forum and have learned lots of things here since I bought my first macbook (the white one) in 2009. I'm based in Europe and have many different interests. I wonder if there are other Europeans around.

Thanks for having me and wish you all a nice Sunday evening.

To which I figured it legitimized me for coming on here as I don't see being a lone iPhone or iPad user lets say would lol

Apple MAC Studio- M1 Ultra 28 core GPU 128GB unified memory
Apple Watch 4/ non cell

New to the forums I think, although I seemed to automatically get an old photo of myself as my Avatar. Using Apple products since around 1990. Wishing there were connective compatibility for many old externals. Currently M1 iMac after my old 2011 MacMini “died”. I wait for final versions of OS and iOS upgrades. Pleased with products from OWC & CalDigit.
