Hi, from Cincinnati. I've owned Dells with various versions of os way back to 3.11 and DOS 6. I started using a iPhone 4s and liked it so much, I got my first ipad2 with iOS4.3.3. I use the pad 3/4 of the time, leaving my Toughbook in the closet. I just worked out purchase of a brand new iPad pro. Only reason was certain streaming apps no longer work with 4.3.3. Never upgraded since the pad has 54 gb on it and essentially doing a reformat, is too much. I'm 63, love hardware issues on computers and I refurb vintage Sony micro TV from 1960 on. I am semi retired at 63 and just agreed with Verizon after they made some concessions to keep me. The 128gb pad is still boxed along with a Logitech Create keyboard. Here's where I need help. I understand the fit into the keyboard case is difficult. Iwas going to put a thin Zagg liner on the back and a thin glass protector on the front. Will the keyboard still slide into the keyboard case. I really like keyboard being lit. Or would I be better off with Apples own keyboard. It is weird in that it doesn't protect rear side. Please let me know if you have either keyboard

There is no waiting. It says "within two months of joining."

I have observed and lurked for a while and decided to join. I have a iPhone and iPad so I look for information or new products rumored to be coming out. I was debating on a work device and finally chose the MacBook air. There were 3 devices I debated and reviewed. The Microsoft surface, iPad Pro and the Mac Air. I debated and decided to go with the MacBook Air for portability and a work unit. I also wanted to be able to exchange information between devices so I chose to go all apple. I will probably purchase a iMac to replace my dated HP laptop for home use in the near future as well.

Hello! own several things from Apple. Came from the backdoor in 2009 with os x on PC. Tried it and liked it so much that I had to own a real one. At the beginning a mini then a rMBP and the big one a MP. Now I just bought a MBP.
For iOS, i owned severals iPhone too and iPod at the beginning. First retina iPad too.
But I am not used to MBP so I just signed in (especially all the thing with I/O thunderbolt, mini DisplayPort, DisplayPort).

Hi,
I've been a fan of Mac Rumors for a while. I have used a lot of technical advice on this blog. Two of my wired mice have gone bad within at least two months. Can a bug on the internet make your (wired) mouse go bad? Anyway, I'm glad I am here. I've also used Macs for a long time. This is the place I go to see what is up and coming.

Hello. My name's Vlad, I live in Brazil (yes, the land where Apple products have insane prices...) and I've been a MacRumors reader since... I don't know, probably 2011. That's the year I became an Apple user. Let's see what being a MacRumors Forum user brings me. Thank you all.

[doublepost=1459363619][/doublepost]Hello: I am a newb here. I am registering with a lot of IT related forums so I can blog about their usability and adherence to ITIL standards for websites--or not. I hope to get a lot of feed back from moderators, administrators, web forum software designers, forum users, and so on....
