For me, neither one of those things matter. I have my Galaxy Watch for haptic feedback on notifications and I don't care about speakers on a phone. But for the price, I think these are 2 tradeoffs people can live with.
Well I bought every oneplus phone so far. But I always hated lousy vibration motor, and no dual speakers, because I tend to use those two very often. My phone is almost always in silent mode, and I love watching youtube on my phone. I don't use smartwatches
But of course, we all have our preferences. And despite that, OnePlus has by far the best android build out there. Even better then stock Android. IMHO of course. And that is the primary reason I love OnePlus phones so much.
Isn't the ip rating, or lack of, due more to them not paying for the rating to keep the device cheaper?
It might actually be water resistant maybe?
I heard it would add $30 per device to have the rating added.
It would appear so. There are a lot of test on youtube, like this one:
Glad they got rid of the headphone jack...market needs to encourage more development of practical/quality wireless earbuds to compete with the Airpods.
Their OnePlus Wireless Bullets are great. But Airpods remain the only Apple product that I own, since they fit my ears like they were custom built for me. I had Bullets as well, better sound and louder, but not comfortable for me as Airpods, so I gave them away.
