My guess is the T-Mobile model OnePlus 6T will have a locked bootloader. But the OPO 6T brought from OPO will probably not have a locked bootloader.Another step closer to rooting going bye bye?
Didn't their parent company do this for a bit before shutting the door? Maybe it was Huawei I'm thinking of?

Much like the Verizon Pixel models have locked bootloaders. But Pixels bought directly from Google have an unlocked bootloader.
I think this is a requirement from the carriers for support issues.
