Yup....I just put my sim back in this phone. SMH
Man it is such an amazing device! This screen vibrancy, touch response, and brightness is nuts.

Ugh, maybe I can find a photo editor to make it Pixel like o_O

Yea I have a problem.

Little quirks which makes oxygen OS so amazing. Being able to swipe down anywhere on the screen, gestures which are great as Q now, accent colors, the feel in the hand is fantastic, the entire screen being this slab of glorious glass!

Snapseed is very user friendly.

I must admit that I am really tempted to buy this phone again. The one I had, had a deadspot where my touch wasn't always picked up. I do miss many of the features of this phone! Someone stop me lol

I have not. User friendly?

What is everyone using as their screen color setting? I had advanced but going to try natural now.
I've been using the natural setting and like it the best. How are you finding this phone in comparison to your Pixel (aside from the camera)? I'm not brave enough to install the Q beta on the 7 Pro haha. If anyone here has done it please post impressions.

Yeah in a couple clicks you can have an insta edit with presets. Or you could spend some time with it. Will support pixel raw files but I found raw on my phone not really worth it, just using up space.

It honestly blows the Pixel away in every single facet outside the camera.

I even prefer the Oxygen OS a bit more as it adds little perks I really like that are small but fantastic (accent color, swipe anywhere on the screen for notification shade, accent color, gestures etc).

I think Ive said it about 37 times but the screen is stupid good between the brightness and vibrancy (Pixel has substandard outside brightness performance), to the tactile touch which is so damn snappy its like reaching in and touching the app itself.

Then the battery life completely obliterates the Pixel for me. I at 11am and have 91% still as it trickles power vs the huge jumps on the Pixel and partly due to needing 100% brightness due to the screen.

I love every single aspect of the OP7 way more then the Pixel outside the camera. The camera is breathtaking on the Pixel and just ok on the OP7. Granted I havent downloaded any updates to the cam or GCam.

This is awesome and I just downloaded and used some old pics I took on the OP7.

Its a tad more work but for more important photos or events I think it is worth it.

Does anyone know the status of GCam on the OP7 Pro and how to do it?

I am on 9.5.6 so maybe an update is in the pipeline for us TMobile-ers

I havent watched the video yet but my biggest gripe of the phone is the way it smooths every detail and there is almost like this haze on all photos causing this automatic filter. It was super annoying.

I will wait to get the update and go take some test shots.

It seems the new update goes crazy on the red saturation, smoothing, and sharpening. Lots of details lost in dark areas but tons of eye burning reds. At least they are trying .

The color saturation in that video is so much better then before and that haze seems to be gone which I hated.

Looks much better and leaps and bounds over launch so excited to see it first hand.

I am loving this phone all day. The way touch points react so much better then any phone and the smoothness is really game changing. And this battery is a BEAST compared to the 3XL and I am in the 90s-ish% brightness usually. Very impressive.

If they can keep improving the phone I'll be content until we see what these Pixels have up their sleeve.

At this point I can't see going back to iOS for quite sometime unless they have some black magic with this new camera that makes it better then a pixel.

Even if the 4 kills it I think the 7 pro is a one of the best, if not the best. Especially if they do another camera update or two. I have one in my cart at 1+ website and my click finger is twitching. haha

Completely agree and I think keeping my pixel 3XL in my drawer for trips, water parks and other times when I need the camera it will come out.

This device is so we'll rounded and it's the fastest phone ever created imo from pure speed and touch response.

Almost....almost the perfect phone. :)

Once a gcam port made especially for the 7 pro comes out it will be even closer. I haven't checked xda in awhile to see if ones out yet.

That's above my skill level to even begin to understand how that works. New Android newbie here, remember that :)

Side loading, APKs, all kinds of foreign language for me.

You download the file (from a trusted place), copy it to the phone, and then on the phone find it in your choice of file browser and click install

I'll wait for some others here to post a trusted source and when it actually works.

Keep those updates coming!

I have been using it for almost a full week again. Still taking the Pixel on vacation tomorrow though.
Sorry OP :(
Enjoy your vacation! I just sold my 3 XL yesterday but it took some of the best photos I've taken when I brought it on vacation with me last month. The 7 Pro has completely spoiled me and I can't look at that notched screen anymore. Played with a 3a in person for the first time yesterday and love it.

If they could merge these devices I would be in heaven.

I love every single thing about the OP7 over the 3XL except that camera. It is the only thing besides maybe small perks like Call Screen, playlist, and AOD.

Hard to have the perfect smartphone as one will always have something that one is better at compared to the other.
