I ordered i7/512/580 on the 28th june, shipped on the 4th July and according to UPS is currently in Koeln, Germany.
Delivery to be made on monday

Nice! I ordered on June 29th and it's still stuck as 'Processing', with estimated delivery of July 25th to August 1st. I called Apple to see what was causing the delay but they weren't able to answer that, only to offer me expedited shipping.

I noticed the shipping changed from 1-2 weeks to 3-4 just after I ordered, my estimated delivery was July 13th- July 20th

Has anyone that has ordered a 512 SSD in the past 3 weeks had one ship yet?

I ordered mine on 27th June, and I've been playing with it since 7th July. Initial estimation was 11-18th July, so things have gone faster than expected.

Nice surprise today. I mentioned above I placed an order on Monday for an i5-7600K, Radeon Pro 580, 1 TB SSD and 8 GB RAM. The estimated delivery date to my Apple store was July 14. I got an email today to pick it up. Now I need to install the 16 GB of Crucial RAM I bought on Amazon and transfer my files from my MBP.

Was yours the base iMac? I ordered the base i5//570/8gb/512 SSD. Wonder if they are shipping the more expensive ones first as I ordered mine on the 26th and it is still processing.

Really? A 512gb SSD? I'm happy for you! I ordered mine on June 20th. Still no shipping date. Where do you live?
[doublepost=1499475745][/doublepost]I just ordered a second iMac. i7/580/8gb/1TB SSD. First one here wins.

........I'm kinda hoping it's the 1TB model :)

Did you order on the Apple store? I heard those orders are getting filled before ones ordered from Apple resellers.

Well, apparently "pick up at Apple Store on 7/17" really means "notification it's arrived on 7/7." So I guess ETA to my home is tomorrow!

I ordered the i5/580/8GB/512GB SSD on July 3rd and currently have an estimated arrival date of July 27th to Aug. 3rd. I did notice today that I have a pending charge on my credit card for the full price of the iMac and Apple Care+ but I'm sure that is just the usual check to see if I have enough credit and will drop off in the next couple of days.

Orderer the same day, still 1-2 weeks here... still time to think about buying more RAM than the 8 GB stock:p... old MacBook is cleaned out.

Mine i5-7600K/Radeon Pro 580/1TB SSD/8GB RAM will be delivered this evening. I ordered on Monday and it takes a full week.

DHL delivery came earlier than in their SMS. Instead of evening, it came in the afternoon. But I'm happy for the change:)

The new iMac looks great. The packaging is nice as well.

Transferring files now. This was normally a time consuming process, but it's so fast on the new iMac.

I had an online chat with an Apple rep last night. The rep advised that my order was being processed correctly. This morning I got a robo-call from my credit card company. They just wanted to confirm the pending charge. My order is still showing as "Processing".

still setting mine up. taking a long time but I want to do it right so I can put the old MacBook Pro in the closet for a while and not have to reference it for any files/ apps.

iCloud documents in the cloud has worked great!

90% of my apps are from App Store. that has worked great!

wish more app makers would use iCloud Drive for prefs so I don't have to re enter basic stuff.

overall big thumbs up so far.

Apple Watch spot on unlocking my Mac now too.

external monitor Dell 4K #1 is great!

second Dell 4K (#2) will be set up next weekend.

This morning ordered the top spec iMac (apart from 2TB fusion & 8GB RAM, which I'll up to 24 or more later).

Currently have a maxed out late 2012. Been thinking about upgrading lately, mainly for the 5K screen but was low priority.....

..that was until a thrips/thunderbug managed to get itself inside the screen!!
It did wander off out of view yesterday, but this morning it was almost in the middle and looks like it's prob dead now so going nowhere.

The bright side (apart from getting a new shiny-shiny) is my daughter can have the old one. She's in her last year of Uni and her laptop is on it's last legs. The bug won't bother her and even though it's old it's still a beast of a machine so will go to a good home.

I just called to check on the status of my i5/570/512 SSD that I ordered on June 26th. When I ordered it said it would ship in 1-2 weeks (Delivers 11 Jul, 2017 - 18 July) with 2 weeks being this coming Monday. When I called they said it is not guaranteed to ship by this Monday, only that they have until the 18th of July to get it to me as that was the estimated day. When I asked about getting expedited shipping added since I waited so long they said no that I had to wait until the 18th of July and then rather abruptly ended the call.

I'm not sure how good expedited shipping is. Is this more a placebo to appease customers with delays?

Don't we all get relatively expedited shipping anyway? I got my iMac Core i7 shipped from San Jose to Toronto in 1 day, and I did not have expedited shipping.

Or maybe the expedited shipping assures a say 1-2 business day shipping time, whereas non-expedited is more like 1-4 business days.

I have heard it could take 5-7 days to get after shipping.

Looks like the 512 SSD is bigger issue than expected:/ They have real problems..
