Today, I got an email telling me it will be another month. Seeing reports of people ordering the same machine, some a week or more after I did, and receiving them, is making me rage.

I hear you loud and clear. I ordered mine on 6/20. However, I believe the quick delivery 512 SSD models we are seeing as delivered, were all 21.5" iMac's w/512 SSD. Maybe that is the difference.

Can anyone who ordered after 6/20 confirm delivery of a 27" 512 SSD iMac?

My order says "Delivers 11 Jul, 2017 - 18 Jul, 2017 by Standard Shipping"

To me that means the estimated date window is July 11th to the 18th, but the guaranteed date is by July 18th. No where does it says the July 18th is an estimated date.

My order says "Delivers 14 Jul, 2017 - 21 Jul, 2017. When they sent my package i got an e-mail saying it wil be delivered 21 Jul.

Jeeeeeez... I ordered a 27"/4.2 i7/512 SSD machine on June 23rd, and was given an arrival date of July 5th-12th. As the date approached, I contacted Apple's chat several times and was told there was no issue with my order, no parts shortage, nothing. All was well.

I had a similar chat this morning. "No shortages, everything is awesome!"

No email regarding a shipping delay-yet. If I get one, I'll just cancel the order and go through a reseller.

I can confirm my 27" with 512 is sent from Apple and will be delivered to me before 21.07. Still waiting for tracking link.

My order was initially showing "Delivers 6 Jul, 2017 - 8 Jul, 2017 by Standard Shipping". DHL later changed it to 10 Jul, 2017. But finally, they still managed to deliver my order on 8 July afternoon.

Not sure I'd do that. Cancelling would just delay it further. Some other posts indicate Apple Store orders are getting priority over 3 party sellers. That is probably part of my problem.

Well, my order (27 inch / 512GB) was supposed to deliver today but it's still in processing. Apple hasn't changed the date on My Orders or even sent an email. Their chat support is completely clueless; they keep saying everything is OK and that it should ship any moment now.

Mine has changed where it no longer says "ships in 1 to 2 weeks" but only says "Delivers from July 11th to the 18th". I assume that is because the ships in 1-2 weeks time frame has pasted.

edit: updated link

I would just like what I bought/have a pending charge for, by the delivery date that I was told by from Apple.

Finally there is a change of status for my order. From "Processing Items", it is now "Order in Progress". I ordered my 27" i5, 575, 512 GB SSD on 01 Jul.

My order on 29/06, for the same thing, still sitting at "Your order is being processed. delivers 26/07/2017 - 02/08/2017"

I'm getting ready to order the 2017 iMac i7/580 w/ 1 TB SSD. Im going away for work for a month and need to pick it up around August 1st in-store. According to apple, if I place the order today it will be ready for pick-up on July 21st. How accurate is this estimate? I want to time the order so that is within a day or two of delivery. Any advice would be appreciated.

While my order is i5/580/1TB SSD, I received my order at exactly last day (8-Jul) of Apple's initial estimates (6 to 8 Jul). I don't think i7 will make a difference for preparing process. The key is 1TB SSD. So I think in your case, the actual delivery date should be close to the estimate.

I ordered the 27" 512SSD model on the 4th of July and just noticed that the shipping date got moved forward by a week!
Originally said shipping in 3-4 weeks but after today it says shipping in 2-3 weeks with an ETA of August 1st. Originally ordered it for my birthday on Aug 10 but not going to complain if it comes a week earlier XD

Saw your post and thought my shipment must've been pushed forward too since I ordered even earlier than you on July 1st (shipping to california apple store).

To my surprise, my order has been bumped backwards a whole week (originally July 27-Aug 02, now Aug 07)! WTF apple...

For reference: I ordered the 5K / i5 / 570 / 512SSD

That's strange! Exact same model too (5K / i5 / 570 / 512SSD). Although my date is for home delivery, and I noticed when ordering the pickup in store date was much further delayed than the home delivery date (by a week or more). Not sure why that would be in all honesty.

it's strange what happens, huge problem with 512 SSD. Maybe we will receive our order in the same time in the august first week ;(

I had to log in and check mine ordered on July 4th, and the "shipping in" text is gone, but my delivery estimate is still August 1 to 8

Edit: using the app store app on my iPad, it still shows shipping in 3-4 weeks, same as it said last week.

I'll wait a couple of days before I order, thanks!

I went to check my order status this AM and it has changed from "Delivers from July 11th to the 18th" to
"Delivers 09 Aug, 2017 - 16 Aug, 2017 by Standard Shipping" . So, with ZERO communication from Apple they have just pushed my order back by ONE month. This is after calling them THREE times last week to have them tell me that there are no issues with my order and I will DEFINITELY have it this week. To say I'm irritated is an understatement. I'm going to call them this morning to see what they have to say.

I talked to Apple this AM and the best they would do is give me a $150 credit. I tried to get them to do the right thing and upgrade me a 1 TB SSD at no cost and ship it to me this week as I was guaranteed by 3 people from Apple last week that it would be at my house by now. They said nope, we are not doing that. I have iPhones and iPads and this was to be my first iMac, but I think I will just cancel and go and buy a PC instead. The customer service and caring seems to be lacking at Apple.

The same thing happened to me. I have a rep on line now and I'm being told the date change is an error. I don't buy it...I want to talk to someone in management. Hey, maybe I'll try to get Tim Cook via email ha ha

"Everything is awesome! No delay, you'll get your iMac as promised."

"Yeah the last person told me that, now I see a big deadline push."

"I don't see anything wrong with your machine-you'll get it on time"

...to be continued-I still have the rep online
