Ordered new iMac 2017, what's your ETA?

My husband ordered my iMac late Sunday evening (July 16, 2017 EDT) and as of this morning it is preparing to ship. :) Expected date next Wed-Friday for delivery, but hoping it actually goes out today. Guess I should order my extra memory soon.

  • 4.2GHZ QC I7, TB UP TO 4.5GHZ
  • 8GB 2400MHZ DDR4 - 2X4GB
  • 1TB FLASH STORAGE
  • AMD RADEON PRO 580 W/8GB VRAM
  • Apple Magic Mouse 2
  • MAGIC KYBD NUM KEYPAD

I ordered the 3.8 ghz with 512 flash storage. I got got notice it is ready to ship today as well. The order quote still reflects Aug 7-9th. I'm hoping it actually ships earlier. :)

Hmm, I have the same config and ordered on July 3rd and still show an arrival date of the 27th to the 3rd. Hasn't changed statuses since placing the order. :(
 
I ordered the mid model, with core i7/512ssd/8ram. Was scheduled for August 1-8th , but the order got cancelled on their end, reordered and now it's scheduled to arrive August 3-10. Got phone call confirmation today so I think all is good this time around.

My husband's card was charged within the first 24 hours (I think relatively immediately). Hasn't changed to shipped yet, but still early in the day.

By the way, is there a single location these get built and shipped from? In California? Anywhere else?
 
For me the Beats headphones arrived next day (I didn't even ask for express shipping). The BTO iMac still expected 3-4 weeks after. My card wasn't charged until the day AFTER I received the Beats.
 
After all of the confusion and anxiety, my iMac is on my desk. I'm glad that I escalated this situation to management since my order wasn't going be fulfilled until early to mid August!

Ordered my i7 iMac 512GB SSD on July 12th. Got an email from them this morning that my computer was ready to ship but my credit card company declined the charge, despite me calling them and Apple last week to authorize the charge. After going back and forth this morning on the phone, I received an email that my purchase is on the way and still processing. Also this morning Apple was telling me that they couldn't authorize the purchase, but I had a charge for the full amount pending on my CC???? The estimated delivery went from 27 Jul-03 Aug to 31 Jul - 07 Aug :( I just want this to be over. I understand CC fraud is a huge problem, but I hate that it's impacting my ability to purchase a new computer.

Ordered 27" i7 Radeon Pro 580 32GB RAM 1TB SDD Tuesday afternoon (18 July) and it's being delivered Friday (21 July). Thank you Apple. Off out to get a new desk now.

My order changed to Shipped overnight and I now have a tracking number and expected delivery date of Wednesday.

I ordered the an i7 / 16GB / 1TB / 580 on the 18th as well and it's still In Process with a delivery window of the 22nd-26th. :p

Update - Just moved to Preparing to Ship.

Just got the shipping notification for my beats arriving tomorrow!! 1 day shipping way to go apple!!! Have been extremely pleased with the shipping and support on my iMac and headphones so far, I'll never buy another computer brand, the premium Apple tax is worth it
 
Ordered 3.4/256GB SSD on 7/18 - still processing. Delivery 7/24-26
Update: Went to Preparing to ship afternoon of 7/20 :)
