i know i'm always complaining about the non retina screens, but again the lines are way to small. they get really pixelated and weird

Pretty sure this is new...

Hovering over the album art in the title bar shows this icon (below). Clicking it opens the miniplayer, closing the miniplayer returns to iTunes.

Seriously? This made the cut into a golden master candidate?

Just to circle back on this: It looks like this isn't going to be fixed in time for October 16th when Yosemite is likely launching. For the bug mine was marked a duplicate of, Apple still has it in an "open" state. Unfortunately, since it's cosmetic, it isn't getting priority, even though it's an obvious issue with part of the main GUI.:(

Guess I'll have to change my stacks to use "list" mode instead of "fan" mode for now.

My iMac is showing a new icon for Airport Utility, not sure if this has already been posted. Oddly enough my MacBook still shows the old one despite both having the latest GM on them.

I stand corrected. In my defence though, you didn't point it out when you saw it a month ago

No. I saw many other people post it on the ITunes update thread and other threads though, so I didn't really see the need. ;)

Oh man, that is one gorgeous looking icon.

I know, it is still not on my Retina MacBook either.. I think Apple will throw in the remaining icons on the final GM that will release either this Tuesday or on Thursday after the October event.

If they don't give us the remaining icons they will leave Yosemite feeling inconsistent.

Someone also mentioned here earlier that the Airport icon came bundled with OS X Server 4.0.

iTunes 12 Up Next

Ugh, iTunes 12 still can't shuffle items in Up Next... This feature is fairly useless for me when a playlist can do so much more, especially given how easy it is to add items to a playlist.

Also, am I not the only one who feels 10.10 doesn't seem ready for public release? Aside from the graphical bugs/glitches/inconsistencies, Finder still crashes, and shortly after installing GM3 I received a kernel panic.

Funny cause I find Yosemite very stable much more than Mavericks was. You should try doing a clean install after the public release on Thursday. It should fix problems

My MBP still has the old one too. I wonder what the difference is!

I think it's gorgeous too. Wish I had it and hope it will be on the final GM.

2 days til Yosemite.

Public Beta 6 is out possibly just under the hood fixes

Edit: looks like PB6 build matches the latest GM build

May be more than "under the hood fixes". It seems smoother and faster. And, so far I haven't had any problems. It really looks good!

Two people think that this "my first photoshop" design of the new icon is "gorgeous"?

No. The old icon is gorgeous. This is gradient, drop shadow, and bevel & emboss layer style abuse.

What's wrong with it is the radius of the bevel and drop shadow.
I like how they changed the early yosemite finder icon to the new one. Much crisper compared to this airport utility icon.

I, too, panicked when I read all the positives about your... creation. Glad that it isn't real, no offense :p

This release doesn't seem to fix any of the numerous graphical quirks I've reported. Guess we'll have to wait until next year's public beta.

Are there any handoff features for iTunes? i.e. when i walk to walk i listen to my iPhone, but when i get to work i want to continue that song/album/playlist on my mac. And then switch back to iPhone at home time...

On GM3 (14A388a), and I still have the old Airport icon. I can't believe this is a real or final design. It looks tacky and doesn't match with the other new icons.
