I don't like them taking away the sidebar from iTunes.
I love iTunes but they keep NERFING it every OS update.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the application switcher (cmd+tab) now has a small space between the current active application and the rest. Couldn't take a screenshot, so I took a picture:

Do we seriously need to update if we have the GM/PB 6 even though they are the same build?
Terrific, absolutely 110% worthy of an upgrade, zero issues so far. I adore Yosemite.![]()
Pressing vol up/down no longer triggers a sound. THANK THE LORD.
You can enable it in system preferences...
I've done quite a fair share of Googling, and now that I think about it, I might be losing my mind... who knows?
Was there any point in the presentation today that we saw a Notification Center widget with multiple packages that were all being tracked (via USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc)? Does anyone have a link to a screenshot of it, or have any idea what app it was?
I was under the impression that it was just another Apple "app" of sorts, as easily accessible like the calculator in the N.C., but now I can't even find a whisper of it. Crazy.
TIA!
I did not watch the Keynote nor have I upgraded to Yosemite (so I am not sure if this is what you saw), but in the App Store I noticed an app called "Deliveries: a package tracker," which has a widget that goes in the Notification Center.
It seems that as in iOS, widgets are not downloaded by themselves but are part of applications.
Magic! Before upgrading I had like 10GB free on my 128GB MBA, with Yosemite I have like 20GB free. Nut sure how this works, but it's nice.

Why would I want to enable it? I'm happy it is off by default.
Neither of the third golden master candidates is the same as the golden master.
If you want golden master, release quality wherever possible: you should do more than update. You should make the zero-cost purchase then perform a full installation, using Apple's app in its entirety.
Don't forget Recovery OS and so on.
