I have serious graphic corruption on my rmbp 15 with intel iris pro. It the screen goes black by click on library folders on the side bar in icon view. I have done a SMC and PRAM reset to rule out, but it seems to be a graphics bug. Here see the video and screenshot

I have exactly the same laptop and I too get this same problem, not always but 90% of the time.

This may have already been posted, and maybe I just need a reboot, but when I check my mac info ... right build number, but not the right OS name! Anyone else seeing this?

Everytime I open Finder, sidebar always goes to this length, stretch it out. Close Finder & re-open it, back to the original way. Anyone found a fix? Have tried the terminal command to Quit Finder, but no luck there.

In "forums.macrumors.com", when trying to upload a file from Safari in OS X, after clicking "upload a file", button will be covered with "plug-in failure" and nothing could be done in this state.

You've only just got that error? I had it on Facebook from beta 1. The fix is to allow the plug-in (Flash) to run in unsafe mode in security /plug-in settings.

Well, I end up with using safari in iOS to do upload. Thanks for your information. ;)

Yes, same issue with Finder here. Finder also forgets the sorting preferences after reboot or killall Finder command.
I tried manually editing the sidebar width in the com.apple.finder.plist preferences file but it didn't work.

I'm wondering if you could work around that by turning off "use Flash based uploader..." in your forum prefs?

Running OS X10.11 PB1 on a 2014 15" MBPr. I am noticing the system is causing my computer to run hotter. An average temp of 177 degrees according to Temperature Gauge 4.1. Anyone else having this problem. With OS X 10.10.4 my average temp was around 130 degrees.

No spotlight lookup for me on certain things.

If i punch in aapl it detects the stock and gives me the latest rates. If i search for manchester united's most recent game I get the scores.

If I type in weather or movies though, I get nothing but safari links. Region dependent perhaps?

System runs smooth on Yosemite, in fact I was able to use that beta almost glitch free. Not today :) after the first boot on El Captain I had glitchy graphics from bad redraws around windows to blocks of the hidden cli boot up chunked around the screen. Any attempt to access the top bar would cause the system to drop out to the login screen. Several reboots the graphic hiccups pretty much disappeared but the top bar issue and dropping out to the loggin screen remained. System was sluggish but not really slow?

I stripped out all the login apps that were loading with no change. The one extra item to note is I have one ssd booting the O/S while a second is fusioned (? is that a word) to a 1tb spindle drive and acts as my ~/home folder. Both SSDs are on a Sonnet TSATA6-SSD-E2 and have run soothly since last year.

Recovering using a thumb drive and Time Machine got me back to a working Yosemite system.

I've got a dock that hides behind other windows. "killall Dock" resets normal behavior but eventually it goes back to being behind all other windows. For example, here's what it looks like when I have Safari open and click on a Stack:

Now in DP3, my good old Outlook 2011 become not responding most of the times. It just hangfter opening and fetching mail. No crash log in Console to explain the cause of hang. I have tried to delete all accounts, identity, then start fresh.

After adding all accounts, Outlook 2011 version 14.5.2 (latest) hang and become not responding most of the time. Apple have done it again, nearly kill my good old Outlook 2011.

Any experts or friends here find a workaround or fix for this problem? Seems that Outlook 2016 15.11.1 is back to life in DP3, but Outlook 2011 is now kaput

In DP3 Betterzip 3.0.1 stop working. It open, but fail to unzip any zip archive, stating that the archive seems to be damaged. I can open the zip archive fine in Archive Utility 10.10 but not is Betterzip.

After poking into the crash log, DP3 suffer from a very low level error (_platform_bzero$VARIANT$Ivybridge

WinZip 4.0.0 also not working properly it do not properly extract the app file contained in the zip archive. But it still do extraction. No crash log in this case.

Apple dev have done it one more time. New OS every year seems not to be a good strategy. A little more features but tons of bugs. I remember my good old day with Snow Leopard under Steve!

Anyone having issues with free space disappearing? Before I installed the PB I had about 150GB free, now I only have 84. Disk utility, About This Mac and the Finder all agree on this with a large 'other' block. DaisyDisk shows the correct usage of about 350GB. What's happened to my other 70GB or so? It's not local backups.
