Same problem here! I am, however, able to mirror the screen and audio together, but not only system audio, as was possible before.

Same problem here. I can't airplay to my Yamaha amp, but iTunes works ok, but it's a bit twitchy. Strangely, I was browsing Facebook earlier, and as I scrolled down past an auto-playing video, airplay clicked in automatically. Even more bizarrely my amp appears as an airplay device, in the drop-down bar, but doesn't appear in settings at all

Looks exactly the same for me. No device to be seen anywhere available for AirPlay. Of all the issues this is really annoying...

Found flash to be fault on the public beta.
I removed it.
Opened www.netflix.com in Safari, and there was no video playback (Something went wrong)
Error Code: S7363-1266-48444350"

Hmm, I had this happen to me before, but today there was a small fix for 32 bit things.
So I updated and now seems to block the audio drivers for my Presonus Studio Live FireWire mixer.
Can't for the life of me remember the fix, there was a way to make OSx to ignore and load the driver!
Anyone know?

Today I started having constant crashing on my 2011 iMac. Has anyone else had this? It's not a kernel panic, it just locks up, I see a weird graphical glitch, usually something that resembles an outline of a mouse drag window, then it just restarts after a moment. It's done this about 4-5 times today. Before and after the supplemental update. Checked my main ssd and back up, they don't seem to have any problems.

My cMBP 13" mid-2012 runs much hotter, and the battery life is much shorter. No rogue apps in Activity Manager.

So I just found out that all my Loved songs in iTunes got wiped out except for a handful, anyone else experience the same issue?

Mine doesn't seem to run any hotter than normal but my battery life has taken a small hit.

Black windows in Finder when switching in between folders.
Resizing the side panel in Finder to reveal entire text of folders doesn't stick/save, requiring resizing every time.

Anyone having issues with free space disappearing? Before I installed the PB I had about 150GB free, now I only have 84. Disk utility, About This Mac and the Finder all agree on this with a large 'other' block.

Update: I think it was a Spotlight indexing issue. I connected the machine in TDM to a Yosemite machine which reported the same excessive usage until Spotlight reindexed, at which point it returned to the correct value, which El Capitan is now reporting happily.

Little graphic bug in finder when viewing a NAS on local network.

Yep, I had both of these issues too. I had to roll back to Yosemite in the end, as the little annoyances all totted up. A shame as otherwise, it was smooth as anything, especially Safari.

Hi all,

I have multiple serious issues with DP3.

- Not able to register my iCloud account (after removal, tip of others) in the preference pane. (unexpected error occurred)
- Occasionally processes pop up consuming 100%+ of cpu (storeaccountd, com.apple.geod, and one related to spotlight)
This renders using safari and so on useless and unresponsive. Manually killing several times seems to help until they pop back again. Maybe these processes are related to the iCloud account details?
- Even safari uses 100% cpu if inactive in background

Upon installation, the first window asked me for iCloud account details, but did not progress after entering information. Had to force a restart.

Serious question, anybody know how to revert to Yosemite without using App Store? (as I do not have ability to login with iCloud account...

TIA

Of course, it's not the Chrome. I have a rPro with i7, 2.6Gh, a simple webpage on one tab cannot use the cpu that its need to cool, however activity monitor says there is not any processor activity (but kextd, about 15%, i don't know why). Just opened browser to post that message. Please not joking with this problem, thanks.
Does the same issue happen in Safari?

Is anyone else seeing their sound capped? I am running everything at full blast: iTunes, Plex, System Volume and neither my headphones or speakers are getting anything above "comfortable". Is there a volume limiter in place in B3 that wasn't there before?

No, not for me. The volume is working as expected and can be quite loud if I want it to be. I'm not aware of any limiter, but I also haven't looked for that kind of setting either.

If you have a backup just option-boot and restore from that. Worked fine for me.

I find that a quick finder restart fixed the issue (temporary)

I for one find the sound to be much louder in El Cap than Yosemite. I have to keep my volume at about 40% to hear normally when I used to keep at 80% before.

I think I had the same problem, it said "Verification Failed" or something.

After having tried numerous things I was wondering why I hadn't heard of other people having these problems here on MacRumors.

Turns out changing the system language to English fixes the problem. It used to be on Dutch, figured you might be able to use this solution too given your username (long shot).

Ah, this helped me in getting iCloud account getting registered for this machine again! (so yes, I am definitely dutch...hehehe)

Changing system language also helped in getting rid of some 100% processes....only to reappear after another reboot...

Anybody any clue?

I'm running this on a Pro 15inch Retina without much in the way of bugs. I haven't experienced any system crashes at all, battery issues or anything like that.

I am running the Office preview so the very latest version of Outlook and although it functions, I have a grey sidebar. I can navigate to different folders, but I cannot see them (if that makes sense). It looks like a graphics glitch.

My main issue is that my Checkpoint Endpoint VPN Security client to connect to the work VPN no longer works. It functions up to the point of it connecting, then reports that the VPN address is not responding. I wonder if this is due to the dropping of discovery.d and falling back on mDNSResponder?

Other than that, no problems to report so far and I run a fairly good mix of apps and I'm using it for 8 hours a day every day :)

Hi All,

any workaround for Checkpoint Endpoint Security VPN. It keeps saying "Site not Responding". Thanks

I think I found a bug in Mail. Rules aren't sticking. I have only 3 rules set up where they take specific new emails, mark them read and then move them to a folder. I've put them in a couple of times, but when I close Mail and go back in, they're gone. The only rule that persists is the default one that Apple puts in to mark emails from them in blue.
